I just want someone out there to know, in case you feel tempted to think you’re “missing” it…sometimes when God calls you, it’s not always going to be this like super exciting looking call. Sometimes God will just call you to press and even more to where you’re at and be rooted where you’re at. But even though it may seem mundane or not exciting, if He is calling you, it will be exciting because He’s a good beautiful God who gives good beautiful gifts. Just commit to be faithful to Him no matter what it looks like! Don’t compare yourself and your journey to anyone else. His plan for you is unique to you! Let this video be how Ashley intended it - to encourage you! ❤❤

I recently finished a fast and God told me to transfer schools. I’ve gone to this same really small school my entire life and it’s senior year and He wants me to transfer to a much larger school to start a revival. This video gave me a lot of peace about my current circumstances. Please pray for me!

This was me 2 years ago! I visited LA, went back home and felt a huge pull to take the leap of faith. I also met my hubby in LA my first visit. I ended up taking the leap of faith and driving from Boston to Cali and love it! The Lord is definitely sending his greatest soldiers out here because the city needs Jesus! I told my husband I had a vision yesterday. I was with a group of people. We set up an inflatable pool and we were baptizing people & sharing the gospel with others. People sharing their stories and wanting a savior.
Yesterday I go to church and I heard this song and the lyrics go like this..

God called my teacher to read Joshua 1 today, which told me everything I needed to hear about the move. You got this ladies!!! The revival is so needed in California. I moved from there to a different state in December and left with my car fully packed and no lease signed yet. I ended up in a great apartment, finding an amazing church and community, getting baptized, joining a wonderful womens group at church and making some beautiful Godly new friends. God is good! Can't wait to see how you ladies flourish on this journey ❤

I know exactly what you’re going through. In 2019, God called me and my best friend to go to Los Angeles also. Jesus did amazing things there. We were so blessed. I encourage you guys to read “Azusa”. It’s about a revival that happened there in the late 1900s. I’m praying for you. God bless your journey sis ❤️

Wow Ashley, if you only knew how much this video spoke to me. I truly feel Jesus spoke to me THROUGH YOU! I currently work at a tech company, and have been for about 2 1/2 years, so much has changed since I’ve worked there. I would say when I first got the job it is what I needed, but I feel it is time for me to leave and enter a new season in my life. I am going to school to become an esthetician, and I’ve felt so called to leave my job and go to school full time rather than part time (really burning myself out). I’ve felt called to quit my job for a while now, but I keep listening to people around me and their opinions of how I should wait for multiple different reasons. But God keeps tugging at my heart to leave, and I keep wondering, “is this you God or is this my flesh? Please give me a sign, anything.” And boom I see your video😭😭 I’m in tears. I love yall so much, I found you through Girls gone Bible and have bought your book “The Joy of the In-Between” since then. I just know you two are called to do great things for God’s Kingdom in LA. Ashley, I know the Lord has so much planned for you and Alley. Watching this only shows me more how the Lord really does have greater plans than we think. The biggest way I see this is how the Lord hasn't brought you and Alley to your significant others yet. The Lord knew that he would be bringing you two to LA and knew full well that moving this quickly and this suddenly would have been so much harder or possibly not possible if you had husbands and possibly children. This is such an encouragement for those in their moments of singleness or even those just waiting for anything. Thank you Ashely for posting this! I am going thought a season where I leaving my full-time job for an internship to build my career but God opened the door. And I am taking the leap of faith that God will provide a job after this internship. ❤
I'm only halfway into this video, and watching it late, but I two parts of this video are really hitting and relating to me: the big move and the for king and country songs playing haha. I saw them perform recently for the first time and it's kick started something new in me and others around me, and been perfectly time with some spiritual challenges God has equipped me to deal with. And then the big move: I have a somewhat big career decision looms in the next few weeks where I don’t know which paths God is going to open and which ones I should venture down. But God is moving.
THIS IS SO NEEDED thank you for sharing this about your life, I am in the in-between right now and it has been some of the hardest times in my life, thanks for showing the faithfulness of God and his mercies!! Praying for the revival that the Lord is doing over there!
I’ve gotten a word/promise on moving to a different state similarly. And interestingly enough, I was reading your devotional and the subject was about your move/call to Nasville! A couple days later, I see this video! Praise God! He’s really speaking to me and the encouragement I feel after watching this, makes me feel even more on fire for God! This video brought me so much joy and excitement! I am so happy for you both, and wish you two nothing but the best. The friendship covenant was so sweet, and almost brought tears to my eyes. I'm currently in a waiting season with the Lord, and although it may be hard, you motivated me Ash to pray and really tune in to what the Lord is asking me to do.
