From what I understand it's not technically a class action lawsuit. But it does look like one

They turned me off to this class action when I was told they were going to charge 40% of the settlement plus administrative fees. I thought that was quite a bit to pay for something I have suffered through for 35 years. I don't mind paying an attorney, but it sounds pretty excessive.

Dose it have to be from that camp? Because I was at ft mcculalan in Aniston AL and there is a lot of stuff this was why they shut down the base in 99 I have developed breathing problems from there?

Fort McClellan in AL was unfortunately left out of the PACT Act. You should still give us a call if you've been denied and wish to appeal for VA disability benefits. We have found evidence showing what toxic chemicals were used in Fort McClellan and have experience fighting these claims.

They told me 40% of what the settlement is, plus administrative fees. I thought it was excessive, not to mention admin fees that are whatever they decide.

Question: if they claim to have fixed the water in 1987? What happen to the chemicals in the ground and surrounding environment?

I was station at camp Lejune May 1988, a year later I began throwing up blood and had surgery for internal bleeding. I've been dealing with pain and diarrhea because of the surgery. Because I'm outside the time frame what do your recommend for my next course of actions?

Most lawyers are looking only for people with presumptive issues that do not need proof of service connection. Like bladder cancer or kidney cancer

I have have been diagnosed with Inflammatory Polyarthritis which is an autoimmune disease. I am currently taking hydroxychloroquine for my inflammation and pain in my joints. I was stationed at Camp Lejeune from June 1987 to September 1987. Would this disease, would it fall under a presumptive or will a nexus be required? Thanks in advance

My father was stationed at Camp Lejeune from 1965 through 1966 and moved us all out to Jacksonville, NC. We didn't live on base, but not far from it. He passed away in 1999 and in later life suffered from diabetes, and had strokes. As his only child, I don't know if I'd be eligible to file or not file a claim.

I doubt a lawyer will take your case but you can always try. They usually looking for people who have a presumptive issue that doesn't need any proof of service connection

Unless you have been to camp lejeune and are part of this lawsuit, hill and ponton doesn't have time for any other veterans cases any more. Just found that out the HARD way, normal veterans cases are just not as lucrative as the class action ones are for them.

    • @andymurrow2497

@@andymurrow2497 i know! so it's all about class action now, that was apparent when i talked to them last week, they asked if i had been at camp lejuene or had a hernia mesh, or took zantac 5 or 6 times in a 10 minute interview
