He ran many slants over the middle of the field and took many huge pops to keep drives alive. That's why Irvin's touchdown numbers are low, but he actually has really good peak yardage stats. Led the league in receiving in 1991 with 1523 yards and had over 1600 yards in 1995 while 2 other seasons over 1300 yards. In fact, Irvin's career average of 74.9 yards per game is the highest career receiving yards per game average for any receiver whose career ended before 2000.

lol all of these players apparently need to be top 25, theres players we havent heard of that deserve those top 50 spots because they were greater than any player we watched and they started it all.

This list is created by exactly one person. There will be plenty of one hit wonders in the top 50, folks we hardly know who had one great season behind one great offensive line.
Where are the great blockers and kickers and centers?

Dez didn't disappoint with the number in his prime tbh. He's getting a little old now but he was solid for a bit amd was one of the best consistently...

I hated Irvin when he played for Miami Hurricanes in college.I was a BIG Oklahoma Sooner fan and for 3 straight years Michael and the Hurricanes KICKED Oklahoma ASS. Those were Oklahoma's only lose in those 3 years....Possibly stopping Oklahoma from winning 3 straight National Championships. When Irvin would make a BIG PLAY AGAINST Oklahoma he would always raise his arms high in the air after the play.....I hated that. But Oklahoma could not stop him Lol.

Way too low, fantastic WR who put up his numbers on a run first team and was an outstanding run blocker too. Very physical, a damn good athlete but it was his toughness that set him apart.

I would have to put Michael Irvin a lot higher than 92. He wouldn't beat you with his speed because he wasn't the fastest but what one thing he did beat you with was his mind.
