This video is just what I was looking for. I have a 5555-x which has SFR software on it and do not remember the password to login to the SFR. I have performed the session SFR do password-reset command to reset it to the Cisco default. But I'm still unable to login with the default. Since I cannot get into the SFR, is there away from the ASA command to view the configuration that is currently set within the SFR?
Hi, No, re-imaging does not require to reboot the ASA Unit, but ensure the traffic should be stopped to SFR before re-imaging to avoid issues. Also, you could stop the SFR monitoring. Refer the article for more details => edledge.com/unwanted-asa-failover-due-to-sfr-error/

Hi, what is the version of the SFR module you are using? Try this => edledge.com/ea00092/
does re-imaging require the entire ASA Unit(chassis) to reboot? can this be done while other services are running?
