Howdy, I was born in the hub of the South Texas valley town, Alice, Texas in 1963. These 60's and 70's Texas movies. Take me back to my childhood. When playing with Horned Toads was just part of a summer's day. Them Horned Toads are now a rare find. I highly recommend the Peter Fonda movie. Race With The Devil (1975). It has a similar theme to this movie. But it was a big-budget Hollywood film.
I lived in Alice, Tx in the 60’s went to Noonan and Schallert Elementary moved away in ‘67, moved back when married and pregnant moved away for good a year later. Went to school in Ben Bolt (4th grade) my son was born in Falfurrias , excellent childhood doctor in Falfurrias then he delivered my son. First had hot Dr Pepper with lemon in Premont at the diner
There might be more to this film than meets the eye. Although it might seem ridiculous that so many people died at the hands of the local cult without being detected, in reality a huge number of people do go missing every year. So it isn't far-fetched to connect fact with fiction. Also the re-appearance of ancient cults is not far-fetched at all; it's true. What is really telling is that the producers included the mention of cinnabar in the story. Now, you might wonder, what is the significance of cinnabar in the narrative? It turns out that ancient powerful ruling dynastic religious cults used mercury in their holy sanctuaries ACROSS THE GLOBE, from ancient China to the Americas! Many or all of these cults were chthonic; relating to the underworld (caves, tunnels, and graves). The cults practiced human sacrifice and perhaps ritual cannibalism. Permeating these religions was the belief in re-incarnation of ancestral spirits and possession. That's a lot of meaning to pack into a drive-in B movie for a Friday night date in 1972.
From IMDB: Had its television premier on the KTVU weekly CREATURE FEATURES show, which included guests from the film's production interviewed by host Bob Wilkins.

what Vince always says about old men playing guitar -- heard recently that the Rolling Stones released another album. so, umm.. when's Vincent gonna release another album? i mean, if the Rolling Stones can do it, why not Vince, another musically-inclined English bloke? ; D
Another great movie and guest guys, love you all especially my animal lover entwined in heart and mind and soul , Ms. Tangella!!! Gary Bailey KingofDarkness
I wondered how I've already seen this. It's on the app as a Bob Wilkins episode. Also they added krull featuring Robbie Coltrane, Liam neison and the guy who played Mark fowler in eastenders😮
I was very disappointed by this film. When I saw the title "Enter the Devil" I was expecting a Kung Fu film featuring Satan battling Vatican karate exorcists in a martial arts battle of epic proportions. Still, it was entertaining enough, especially liked the ending where good triumphs over evil, but mostly bullets win the day. After all, goodness needs a bit of firepower occasionally. Tangella makes for a very attractive clown.

So glad that Tangella got to spend some quality time with the pooch and it was caught on camera! That pooch is really into the California surfer low key relaxed mode! Really enjoyed the movie shows that you don't need lots of $$$$ to put on a good show. Yeah there was hokeness but good acting too in just the right balance to to make it a fun horror movie to watch without the nasty psychological aftertaste some leave. Got a real kick outta all the 70's he men!
Love Livingston's expressions while Vincent talks!!!!! Great banter
I love the fact that all movies on your show are good quality.
Wow! Clown Tangella looks amazing!
Agreed - poster please?
Merci Vincent, Tangella, Livingston, Michel and Sammy! Loads of fun!

Please review and play "The Devil Rides Out". Great movie. Obscure and rare now. Needs to be back in circulation. Thanks.
