Take me back to 2004-2006. Late elementary/early middle school days. MAN did I used to love playing this game each time I hopped on a PC which were rare moments and I cherished every moment I had. Man, the nostalgia. Thank you for sharing this 💕

Freaking hell, I used to play the living daylights out of this game whenever I was on computer. Back in my middle school days, everyday after school this was one of my favorite online games to play, along with many others

Here come the memories, I remember actually playing Sonic 3 for the first time and saying that Angel Island Act 2's music was from this game, good times.
Played the shit out of this in the 2000s, looking back it’s not even that good, but in comparison to the other Sonic flash games it was amazing.

@@federicobalubuquellofalso9814 No it's trash. It's literally auto running the game. Every boss is a chase boss and they're all terrible. Getting the Chaos Emeralds and by extension Super Sonic is probably the worst in the entire series. It's just not a good game. Advance 1 and 3 are way better.

This was my first Sonic game as a kid and it always bugged me how the official 2D Sonic games had such a small field of view in comparison. It took Sega another 14 years after this to make a side scrolling pixel art Sonic game where you could see this much of the stage ahead of and behind you.

It's weird. I have no memories with playing this game, but the Angel Island music and the ring sound... I've heard these before but I can't remember where. I guess I must have played it. If so, I'm sad I forgot.
Honestly, it would have been nice if the game was actually completed, but it was still good regardless.

I remember play this game on my cousin computer as a kid
Oh man the nostalgia. I played this on my cousin's PC, he had it on a CD he got from a games magazine. At the time i didn't knew about the Advance trilogy. I discovered Advance 2 through those signs on SADX, which i played a lot on my PC back in the day. Some time later, a friend from school gave a copy of VBA 1.0.0.70 with some GBA ROMs, and later i got from the same friend the Sonic Advance trilogy + Sonic Battle to play on my PC using VBA. Imagine my reaction when i first played Advance 2 xD
I’ve been trying to remember the game of this game for years. I was so little when I first played it that I thought it was an official Sonic title game and never knew about any of the console games. I was obsessed with this game. I always remember the graphics being much more similar to the Genesis art style of Sonic so seeing this was a bit of a shock lmao.

I don't think it aged well by any stretch of the imagination, though. Sonic fan games have come a loooooong way since this was made.

...this game is almost 20 years old. dear god. I can remember playing it as a kid around 2012 on the crappy netbook my older sister had, alongside a bunch of other browser games such as a Mario reskin of Ultimate Flash Sonic and Super Mario 63. I can also recall playing ROBLOX on a guest account, it was pretty good back then. Haven't played it in years because it just isn't fun anymore, they pushed the "tool to make games" part a little too much imo. It used to be more of a social hangout sort of game.
At school I managed to find a way to play tons of flash games despite them being blocked on the schools firewall, by running them through Excel. I can remember one game where you ride a bike, and another where youre on a raft firing projectiles sort of like Angry Birds.
Pretty decent flash game for it's time, in comparison to the rest out there.
Too bad it was never finished. Or maybe it was meant to be short.

People today will scoff at this and say how it's not that good, but back in 2004 this was one of the most impressive sonic fan games out there... especially for Flash! Also, iirc Flash files have a 50MB limit, which is why everything is so compressed and why the game is so short.
