I'm such a fan of Robert Downey Jr and his story. As a recovered addict who finally got her shit together I can totally relate . He made such a comeback with his Iron man character. He embodies the comic book character to the fullest. I can't imagine anyone else playing it.
there are a few marvel characters that are the real embodiment of the actors that play them deadpool/ryan reynalds and wolverine/jackman are the other two of the characters they got spot on with the casting
@@canadianbakin1304 Hugh Jackman was always a bit too tall and handsome for me unlike the short, stubby, rough, hairy, stinky Canadian from the comics/90s show
@@s1ckboirari i think the guy who plays Wayne in letterkenny should be the next logan he's under 6ft tall young enough to keep up the role for a decade or more unknown to a lot of people and i think he could pull off both the angry and sarcastic sides of logan really well side note: black panther was also spot on would of been cool to see him and storm finally get married lol
@@canadianbakin1304 yeah its weird they hire RDJ and put him in high boots for all of iron man to make him look about the same as Chris Evans' height but he's a pretty small guy. YES! FINALLY. Y'all just watch everything that I'm into 😭. If you're planning on watching them all, just know that some are slow but the payoff is so worth it.
It has been a blast to relive this saga on patreon with you guys. I'm watching the whole movies with you. Honestly I have to say your patreon has been such a nice haven to sit back and relax. I can honestly say that your patreon is my favorite and it is so much worth it. Can't wait for the rest!
There's about 60 Marvel movies, not all of them part of the MCU. Aside from the main MCU run from Iron Man to Endgame, there's the films that come after, and earlier films. There's the 2 Spider-Man trilogies, the Blade trilogy, the X-Men, Prequel X-Men, and Wolverine trilogies, the 2 Deadpool movies, and the 2 Ghost Rider movies. So quite a few. The set of Iron Man to Endgame is a complete story arc.
I'm glad you guys have started watching the MCU, well come to the family. Make sure you watch the end credits of every movie to, there's a little something at the end.
I can't believe I get to watch you guys experience this, 6 years old I saw this and I've been hooked ever since! I can't wait!!!!!!! I'm going to mention a little tidbit that I think starts here, just pay attention to Tony's escape from the cave. THAT'S ALL YOU GET THOUGH
the recurring theme going forward from this movie is, Tony Stark always learns from his mistakes. P.S. i wonder if war machine would be a more serious character is they didnt change actors.
Always excited to watch along with people being introduced to the MCU for the first time. Subscribed and ready for the ride. I hope you enjoy! From someone who grew up an insane Batman fan... I am very much enamored with these films.
I was just going to type "love you guys, thumbs up but I'm waiting for part 2". Then there it is. Part 2/2 as well. Happy weekend to you both. Very excited for this.
I was basically in the same boat as you guys back in 2019; I loved Batman but wasn't interested in seeing Marvel, but just decided to check out Phase 1 to see if I liked it and I basically binged all the films in just over a week and managed to catch Endgame at the cinema. During lockdown I also decided to binge every single Marvel TV show, and most of them are great and definitely worth checking out.
If there is one show from TV (not counting disney+ shows) worth watching, its definetely Daredevil. Then Jessica Jones and then Punisher if anyone wants more. Others are so so, but still enjoyable.
@@kptmaci4979 Daredevil is definitely the number one show to check out, then I’d say Agents of Shield, then Jessica Jones and The Punisher. I do think all the pre Disney+ shows except Inhumans were really good tho (Cloak and Dagger and Helstrom were a bit mixed but had their moments), and I definitely enjoyed the shows more than the films.
The suit that Stark builds is the first one he builds in the comics under similar conditions. In the comics Stark was captured by a warlord and did basically the same thing. Iron Man was first introduced in the 1960s Marvel comics. If you were to ever read the comics you would see that, given RDJ history with drugs, he is the perfect choice to play Tony Stark who was an alcoholic and a brilliant inventor but also a playboy bachelor.

I have watched pretty much every live action tv & Movie, as well as every animated series & film, and every History Chanel documentary on comic mythology that's been made. I do enjoy both comic franchises. That being said I am more of a Marvel fan, and if I had to rank my top 5 or 10 characters not including manga Batman is the only DC character to make that list ranked 2nd behind Wolverine toping that list since first being introduced to me in the 90s X-Men animated series.
Your MCU journey! I'm here for it. I hope you know to watch all end credits to the bitter end for the extra scenes. And to look for the Stan Lee cameos as well.
