    Super excited to start this journey with you guys. 3 things you need to know - 1. watch in order they came out. 2. "Hef" is Stan Lee - the creator of most Marvel characters including Iron Man, and you need to watch for his funny cameos in every Marvel film going forward up until his death. 3. Have to watch until the very end - there's a mid credit AND end credit scene in almost every Marvel movie which isn't just a lot of fun, but often necessary to get the big picture. ENJOY !!!

    The gentleman Tony called Hugh Hefner is Stan Lee, one of the founders of Marvel Comics and the creator of most of Marvels biggest characters. He has a cameo in every Marvel movie until his passing, and the fun is trying to catch each moment, as he's never the same character twice.

    Now you’ve begun your MCU journey, remember to NEVER STOP THE MOVIE UNTIL ABOUT 10 seconds after the credits roll. The movie is never over until the end of the credits. The MCU always has 2 or 3 extra scenes at the end of every one of their movies that give you a little hint of what’s to come in the next movie.
    ALWAYS WATCH UNTIL ABOUT 10 SECONDS AFTER THE CREDITS ROLL!

    Great to see someone else starting their MCU journey! I would love to see you continue. This was good.
    The thing to understand with the Marvel movies is that they are all one big single story. It won't feel like it at first as the first few are stand alone, but you will see some connections.
    That said, the order you will want to watch the first phase (phase 1) is:
    Iron Man (just watched)
    The Incredible Hulk (2008, don't snag the older one)
    Iron Man 2
    Thor
    Captain America: The First Avenger
    The Avengers
    Couple of things to know with the MCU movies. There will always be a cameo by one of the creators, Stan Lee (well, until he passes away, but that is a ways away). In this movie he was 'hugh hefner' It's fun to watch for him and catch them... like a Marvel version of Where's Waldo.
    The next is that these all (except the incredible hulk) have an after and/or mid credit scene you will want to watch. You missed this one, and it is pretty cool with it's implications.
    After the first two there is a couple of recastings, but we can talk about that later.

    YES!! I am so glad that you guys are starting your MCU journey! This movie through "Avengers: Endgame" is one of the most incredible and captivating cinematic experiences ever, and you're going to love it!!
    At the risk of repeating things that others have already said, here are some important tips:
    1) Watch the movies in the order they were released, not chronological order. Everything will make much more sense that way.
    2) Always, always, ALWAYS watch through all of the credits. Most MCU movies have two, even three mid-credits and post-credits scenes.
    3) The gentleman playing Hugh Hefner in this movie is Marvel Comics icon Stan Lee, who along with a handful of other people started the Marvel renaissance in the 60's. He co-created many of Marvel's top characters, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, the Fantastic Four, the original X-Men, Daredevil, the Black Panther, and Doctor Strange. He makes a cameo in every MCU movie up until his death, with the last one appearing in "Avengers: Endgame." Fantastic guy. (I was privileged to meet him years ago.)
    Get ready for a thrill ride!! Can't wait to join you!

    That's the Black Sabbath song at the end! Bassist Geezer Butler wrote the lyrics to "Iron Man" in 1970. It's unrelated to the comic book superhero.
    The song is about a man who travels to the future and witnesses the Apocalypse. When he returns to his time and tries to warn everyone, no one listens to him. Enraged, he causes the very Apocalypse that he saw in the future. Self-fulling prophecy.

    That guy who was “Hugh Hefner” was Stan Lee.
    Stan Lee is a legend. He created most of the popular Marvel superheroes and was head of Marvel comics for many years and highly accomplished and revered. He wrote many comics for Marvel before becoming the head hauncho.
    Stan Lee makes a cameo in almost every single Marvel movie as he is the grandfather of Marvel. Try to spot him in the Marvel movies

    • @carlgibson285
      @carlgibson285 Год назад

      Stan Lee being the creator of the most popular Marvel superheroes is more of a myth than a fact. The real creator is an artist named Jack Kirby (and to a lesser extent, Steve Ditko who created Spider-Man and Dr Strange). Kirby created most of the early characters and the stories while Stan Lee just wrote the characters' dialogue. The reason Stan gets all the credit is because he was the ultimate salesman, and the thing he was best at selling was himself. Every time Marvel needed any publicity, it was Stan they wheeled out to talk to the media, and eventually Kirby and Ditko became disillusioned by their treatment (lack of credit, lack of royalties, not even getting their original art returned to them) and left the company. Honestly, I do have a soft spot for Stan Lee, and his salesmanship is one of the reasons why Marvel became so popular, but the fact that Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko's names aren't plastered all over these movies is criminal.

    BJ's history with Iron Man is pretty much just like evey one elses was. We all saw him in comocs growing up, some people might've been super into him...but most people for real didn't give a damn about Iron Man lol. The movies changed all that and now hes gotta be top 5 in popularity, alot of people's numero uno. Wild, but its a testament to Robert Downey and what he brings to every scene. ✊🏽🖤

    The single reason why Robert Downey, Jr., is the comeback kid of the entertainment industry and perfectly cast and it's inconceivable that they initially didn't want him and had another actor in mind who passed on it. Serendipity!!!! The funny part about Pepper and Tony almost kissing is that Robert and Gwyneth actually dated in back in the day. Oh you didn't watch through the end credits. With ALL the Marvel movies, you HAVE TO watch after the credits. Tony's parents were killed in a car accident years before. There's more on that in later movies. YES, keep going but you could go in chronological order for the Marvel movies which you'll need to go back to Captain America the First Avenger before watching others.

      @@joshd2013 Mel helped RDJ get back into acting after his prison stint but that's not what I meant. Jon Favreau and Kevin Feige had wanted Clive Owen and he passed on it. RDJ wasn't their first choice but he was the best choice and RDJ was back and better than ever in a way he hadn't been before because nobody wanted to take a chance on him with his history but Jon and Kevin knew he was Tony Stark because RDJ beat out Timothy Olyphant who was the only other person they were considering.

    Honestly I would say you guys should check out the original Spider-Man trilogy with Tobey Maguire and the amazing Spider-Man duo-logy with Andrew Garfield as well as the first two Deadpool movies with Ryan Reynolds it’ll do good to see those because those movies are now cannon to the MCU. Oh and Logan sorry guys lol😂
    Edit: Also remember to check out the end credit scenes they add to the overall story in the entire franchise.

    • @mrsonix20th
      @mrsonix20th Год назад

      @@devanworkman8745 Not really I didn’t say how that’s for them to find out unless I say exactly how or what’s going to happen it doesn’t spoil a thing. Most people who are new to this franchise have no idea what’s going to happen. Those first 5 Spiderman movies are just very important to the later movies that’s why I added that. And if it were such a spoiler to say Deadpool being apart of the MCU why would marvel publicly come out to announce that months ago we know Deadpool 3 is going to be cannon we just don’t know how. Watching these movies is about the buildup it would be a shame for them to not watch those Spider-Man movies then get to the later movies and wonder who certain characters were and what’s even going on same with the future of Deadpool.
