Everything you said is true. When you first start you think that the levels is what your supposed to do but it really doesn't matter. I was platinum and lost it then got it back and still didn't notice any difference.Since then I just decline most offers and still make money but I sit longer. Save gas and still make money. Learning in the daytime is the best way for people who just started with doordash because they will try to send you on some places that you never knew where there before.
Thank you for your time to explain this job , i have a iPhone and i did call customer service to ask some information, they said wait until i get a text saying i have the ok to strart , olny reason i trying this because I i cant be on me feet for 8 hour shift anymore in my late 50s . so anything else to help be thankful, funny there is not a video from the company crazy. but i know a few friends who have done this but they dont do it any more and live far-away. thank you
to simplify: familiarize yourself with the wealthier neighborhoods and stick to the hot spots nearby. I'll get a $20 tip for a standard pizza run. Familiarize yourself with "the hood", and avoid it like the plague. they either don't tip, or tip 50 cents to a dollar. you'll get nothing but 2 or 3 bucks for 10 minute drives to the hood to deliver 30-40 of Taco Bell. they don't tip.
Scheduling dashes in Michigan is a joke. We just do dash now. Blocks you can schedule are in the middle of the night or ridiculously short. Not even 2 hours.
You can get a digital one added to your Google account thru the doordash app...beware tho when you activate the one they mail you the original digital one will be invalid...and the new one will be added to the Google wallet as well

Did you get it? App says it's auto mailed to you after your first delivery completed.
