Do indices please
I have some indices videos already but will be doing a couple more.
just had a question what do I do if the total amount is a recurring decimal ?
Hi what do you mean by total amount? If it is the estimate of the population then round it to nearest integer.
@@1stClassMaths im not really sure how to explain it so ill just give you the question to make sense of it.
A group of students want to estimate how many woodlice live in a greenhouse. They catch and mark 20 woodlice.
They return the 20 woodlice to the greenhouse.
They then catch 50 woodlice and 11 are marked
Estimate the number of woodlice in the greenhouse.
and the answer I got was 1000/11 so should I round it? or get rid of the recurring decimals? thank you!
Round the answer to 91
@@1stClassMaths ok thank you!
But how would you make up for that 0.1 of a woodlouse or does it not matter because it's an estimate@@1stClassMaths
ACCORDING TO GOOGLE 👆🤓 it says the easiest way to mark a bee is to "get the little dot of paint squarely in the center of the bee's thorax"
Thanks for this. I will consider it when I next mark some bees.
