    I've been watching all your videos. So grateful I found this channel. The Speedi is such an amazing appliance, but because they market it just for the Rapid Meal setting, you' re kind of left on your own to figure out all the awesome and convenient ways you can use it. It's been so helpful to watch you cook with it to get a good feel for how incredibly useful it is.

    I bought asparagus at the grocery store then - coincidence? - this video came up when I logged into RUclips. 😄Perfect timing! I've been searching for a good technique to cook cod as I have several packages of it stored in our meat freezer. It's a bonus that the asparagus fits below the tray in its lower position, plus your method is adaptable to use other vegetables when asparagus is out of season. I'm thinking fresh zucchini & young crookneck squash slices sprinkled with one or more of a variety of seasoning options during summer months, and frozen sugar snap pea stir fry vegetable mix in the winter - probably seasoned with stir fry sauce.
    I concur 100% with what you said at the end of this video. Like most, I have many cooking options but really appreciate that the Ninja Speedi can cook an entire meal using only one appliance. Plus it cleans up more easily than most other things. Thanks! Cheers!
    P.S. Do you think there's any way to imitate your smoked cod using the Ninja Speedi? Maybe a spritz of water/Liquid Smoke mixture prior to cooking using this method? I'm thinking a soak of water/Liquid Smoke might deteriorate the tender fish.

      I appreciate your comment! I like that you are already thinking about different options and what you can cook! Awesome! Honestly it's all about using these videos to give you ideas on what to cook and how to possibly cook it. I like liquid smoke! Much appreciated 🙏

      @sandrawestley4193 Год назад

      Just let the fish defrost for an hour or so, or put the fish in cold water to defrost then dry and cook like fresh it won’t overcook then

    • @sandrawestley4193
      @sandrawestley4193 Год назад +1

      He used 125 ml or 1/4 cup, if you go back over the video it’s there. At the back of the Ninja instruction book it states how much water for each different thing, like meat, chicken, lamb, fish.

    Cod was always a favourite when i lived i Scandinavia. The North Sea seemed to give a juicy firm flavour. BUT ASPARAGUS?? NO!! NEVER! Asparagus only served with salmon or smoked salmon. because the acidity of the asparagus ruins the delicate flavour of the cod.

      Yes it wood, fish is fish. If it’s not ready close lid and do a minute more, it’s no different than using a frying pan except it’s got a lid.
