I use a tri-fold snap wallet. I know its in my pocket and the snaps catch on my pocket a little making it highly unlikely to slip out or for someone to pickpocket it without me feeling someone fumbling around my butt trying to get it out. Mostly cowboy dressing people i notice have full sized wallets. They only fit half in their back pockets so they're walking around with half their wallet hanging out. That would make me super nervous. Seems just way too easy to pickpocket your entire wallet.

I use the Thread and Leather Wrap Wallet every day and I love it. I have had the wallet for 3+ years now and it is still in great shape. I got the kit and sewed it together myself to save a few dollars. The pockets eventually stretched a little to accommodate the amount of cards I have in them over time to a nice snug fit. I love it and I can't imagine ever buying any other wallet ever again.

I’ve been using this wallet for over a year and it’s perfect for me. You can’t beat the capacity for the size. Once broken in you can fit 10 cards in there with cash. I personally don’t keep cash in there it’s more convenient to keep it separate in my pocket. The quality is great and perfect for a front pocket.

I use a fantom wallet it's hard shell case with a lever that fans out the cards even tho I hardly use it I just take out cards needed untill 1 I need out most used on top, it also has a clip on outside for notes ect I don't carry many but keeps them secure and it does have a little space inside top for coins but in the UK the £1 coin no longer fits as the old ones were slightly thinner than now so I don't use that bit it's durable and small compact light weight and overall very good for me

I love my SECRID wallet man, although the real deal is made in the Netherlands (I live in Belgium) and it might be hard for you to get. I see more and more people with the same one nowdays so it's gotta be a great design. I can fit a lot of cards in there (6 with the quick release, maybe 10 more in the side leather pockets and even some bills too) and it feels very solid. Cheers!

I've had a Oroton money clip style leather wallet for many years that has 6 pockets that you can fit an extra few cards as well as a separate pocket for a few business cards and receipts. They don't seem to have quite the same design now. The closest is their "Coda Mini Clip Wallet".

You may want to check out Secrid wallets. I don't think they have a larger capacity but they do have a spring-load mechanism that helps take out cards and a clasp on some models to help keep them shut. I don't have personal experience with these but I was lusting after them on a recent trip to the Netherlands where they are made.

I've had the same wallet for probably the last 25 years - a rip curl one that's been beaten up, worn out. About 10 years ago, the daughter said I should get a nice new one...so I did - A nice leathery one. Had it for about 2-3 months and lost it in the habour (that's another story for another day, but lets just say that a few beers were involved ;)). So I went back to the old one and still using it. BTW I did get the leather one back - a scuba diver found it and handed it in to the cops...but it was stuffed with the sea water.

For years I have had a Dooney and Bourke Duck wallet, really good quality and not stupidly fat but I have noticed since in the UK we have changed over to placcy notes it springs open easily when the old cash would fold with it.
Only problem I've had is the pop stud has popped off and in recent times its started to get frayed on the inside where my cards slip in and out. Maybe its time for me to look for a new wallet!

I use a Belroy Slim Sleeve in which I keep about 5 cards and a couple of folded notes for emergencies. Im not a daily cash user and hate carying coins, so I do contactless card payments where ever I can (which works well in London where all forms of public transport also accept contactless payment cards too).
I would say its probably not a wallet for someone who uses a lot of cash, because if your notes are big enough they will probably stick out one end which means it will look a bit scruffy.
But its very compact, only a little bit bigger than a card itself, and I guess because I carry minimal cards its not very thick so I barely notice it.

I feel your pain on finding a wallet. In 'Merica it can be really bad. I have, TWO Medical Insurance Cards (one for Dental, one for Medical), TWO Medical Spending Credit Cards (these are dedicated to paying out of tax exempt accounts, one is an FSA (Flexible Spending) and the other is an HSA (Healthcare Spending). Oh, did I mention you also have your "Corporate Travel Insurance Card" as well as your "Vision Insurance Card"? Yea...Now add in your bank card for the ATM, at least one credit card, drivers license and other IDs (I have 2 formal pieces of ID I need to carry), and any department store cards (Microcenter, Best Buy, Fry's, etc.). Yea...I have at least 10 cards in my wallet that I pretty much MUST carry...it sucks. I really need a better wallet. BTW: I don't carry cash in my wallet...never have, never will. I use a money clip.

Dave, you need to check out www.all-ett.com/ if you're looking for a slim wallet. I've used their nylon original slim wallet for over a decade (and yes, it's lasted that long!) and it can fit way more then those two you've shown so far. It should fit just as much, if not more then what your old thick 3 fold leather wallet could fit, and the price isn't bad at all. Your money won't be flapping in the wind either, and it has space even for paper work larger then a bill (your vehicle paperwork for example). They have a smaller nylon version that is similar to the previous one you reviewed, but your money wont flap in the wind, and I find it fits plenty of cards too.

First time Ive seen Aussie money, what are those yellow things on the 5 note looks like a virus? On another "note" I could never use that wallet, I use a chain wallet I would lose that little thing in 2 days

Possibly the Wattle plant. It's been a while since I saw new Aussie notes since I've been living in Europe for about 8 years.

@@TomStorey96 Never heard of that, of course here in the USA we dont have nearly the diversity of plants and animals as Austraila. I think we rank like 10th in Biodiversity

@@Metalhead-4life Actually I think I am completely wrong. Wattle are little balls instead of being more elongated. Maybe Callistemon. We generally refer to them as "bottle brush".

$70 for a wallet? Costs more than the amount of cash I would normally keep in there! I'd be more worried about the cash falling out of that bugger - that will make it even slimmer!

I've had this wallet for 5 years now and have 12 cards in it cause I rarely use cash. The leather will stretch in time and it will stay closed.

That's not not a slim wallet, this is a slim wallet.
I've used the "Travelambo Front Pocket Minimalist" for a couple years now available on Amazon for $8-$10.

Damn Dave, you have to keep throwing all that RUclips money in our faces?! I never cared for putting cash in my wallet. I always keep my cash in my front pocket. It's so much easier to just pull out some cash to pay for something, opposed to pulling out your wallet and fumbling through it for cash, then having to put the change back in it.
