Even if the kit car has a 3S-GTE (they're good engines) but there are better choices for reliable/ cheaper hp, and more readily available parts. That's why the K swap is so popular with SW-20 MR2s.

It’s really amazing how you guys went from a small garage to this massive building where you guys have a “junkyard” of cars, a garage of working cars, a shop and many other rooms. If the engine is a 3sgte Mr2 motor, could be about 350 on stock crank on a good tune. Might need a different turbo in size for more air. The 5sgte the camry block forged and built with 3sgte head can reach that 700 horsepower.
There’s no point in doing a “5SGTE” build when the 3S is more then capable of holding more then 700hp. The 5SFE doesn’t have a forged bottom end it has a forged Crankshaft.
