I always throw them on the freezer whole. It really isn't a big deal. You just leave them out for a few minutes and then they peel easily. Saves plastic bags or washing tupperware I guess.

I keep commenting, I'm nuts. When you talk about nutrition information, you are correct. Unfortunately, one of the main reasons it's so confusing is that many people speak on the matter and make claims when they are unqualified and the claims are unsubstantiated. Even if people claim that scientific studies back their claims, unfortunately you can't take their word for it. It can become overwhelming. I've been vegan for 11 years (I'm not advocating for veganism, please don't stop reading, there is a point to this). For some reason, vegans on social media make the craziest unsubstantiated claims and are SO convincing, when often they're promoting such unhealthy, expensive and unattainable ways of eating. I'm a huge fan of Unnatural Vegan on RUclips because she is all about nutrition and reason and the cost of groceries, etc. She also says very often, there are MANY ways of eating that are nutritious and/or good for weight loss. From Keto, to Mediterranean, to vegan. There are many ways of eating that are nutritious. Nutrition is confusing, but there are ultimate vitamin/mineral/protein etc macros that can be achieved in a variety of ways. This seems healthy, from a person who has no business judging whether it is or not, lol, but just be careful if you ever fall down a rabbit hole of "healthy eating" channels on RUclips. They are almost ALWAYS very convincing, but, unfortunately, most of them are only that and they don't know what they're talking about. WHEW, sorry, rambling. Your last what you ate video was great, well balanced, all of that. This one seems great as well. It's easy to see some beautiful, funny, smart, skinny person and ASSUME they know what they're talking about. Sometimes they do, but many times they don't.
Im vegan too, and feel the same way. I feel like I can't trust alot of other vegans for advice, because they are too biased and don't want to acknowledge the precautions one must take (although I do agree it's annoying that it seems any possible flaws in a vegan persons diet will be pointed out immediately, where as people not eating correctly on a standard American diet are often overlooked). I went vegan strictly based on compassion for animals, not health. On the flip side the people who swear by the high meat/egg diets can also be coming from a place of bias, because if humans HAVE to eat like that to be their healthiest, it justifies their decision to continue supporting animal slaughter and exploitation. It's mentally exhausting.
I agree. I’m vegetarian but I do watch a lot of vegan youtubers and I learned early on that you need to make sure that who you’re following isn’t advocating anything weird or unhealthy. I found unnatural vegan is great also pick up Limes (she’s a registered dietician or nutritionist), cheap lazy vegan, high carb Hannah (although she def buys into the diet culture way too much-but her recipes are very easy) and Edgy Veg, Sweet Simple Vegan and Avant Garde Vegan just you name a few.

I burst into laughter at "I left the skin on the banana" literally about 20 mins ago I was microwaving a banana on defrost for my sons smoothie bowl for the same reason (look into them, they're actually quite nice, great for getting fruit and protein into ur kids and mine actually bloody eat it too) you're doing so great, really loving watching you. I'm working for a transformation too after having my second boy 4 months ago. Really feel like you're realism helps alot when I'm near unconscious after an exercise and the fit ladies on the screen don't even look winded xxxxx
I wish! I tried them recently and while I can eat them, I’d rather have blackberries, strawberries, or blueberries. Now strawberries truly go with everything.

I spent 4 hours in the kitchen trying to meal prep yesterday (making baby food as well as lunch and dinner for me and my husband 😱) and still couldn’t finish making everything so I feel your pain. Honestly, I think getting some good kitchen gear can make it less miserable. A Ninja (blender and food processor) and an InstantPot make a huge difference. I 'chop' everything in the food processor because I find chopping to be tedious and boring AF. And the InstantPot is wonderful for those days where you're like "cooking? nah", and you can just chuck every healthy thing you have in your fridge into it, close it, walk away, and come back an hour later with a delicious and healthy meal. A dishwasher also makes a huge difference because once you start cooking a lot, the dishes are never ending. If you can't get a plumbed in one (e.g., renters), they sell ones that just hook up to your sink. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Trickius I live in Japan so my kitchen situation is a bit different from what you probably have. I only have two burners on my stove, a small fridge, and a very small microwave oven. I don’t have space for any extra appliances, so I just really need to figure out what recipes are the most time efficient to make 🤣

I got recommended one of your videos, and now I've binged most of your content. Not only is this so inspiring to continue my own weight loss journey, but you are also just a funny person to watch.
Basicly, when eating whole foods you get a lot more out of them. You get vitamins, minerals, good fats and carbs that you'll digest in a healthy pace. Because when eating high-carb foods with more fibre you'll digest them slower and you'll get the sugar evenly throughout the day, unlike when eating fast food that gives you a sugar spike and leaves you craving more and feeling hungry, even when overeating.
I was just watching this korean guy eating a trillion of calories, then youtube suggested me some videos of korean girls trying to weigh about 40 kg...now I am watching your video. Loved it by the way.

Somehow you popped up on my recommended. It was your three day water fast video. I realized after checking your channel out that it's apart of your series to lose weight. So now I'm at the end of all your videos after binge watching them. I feel SO inspired to start my journey. I don't want to lose 100. I do want to lose 75. I've been toying with the idea of starting a fast and then going into intermittent fasting to help myself lose weight as well as drink more water. Seeing your struggle but also your weekly accomplishments has really put into perspective that, yes, this will be hard but it is doable. That it doesn't matter how fast I do it as long as I get on this wave and start riding it already. So I'm starting and I'm going to ride this wave with you. You're already doing such an amazing job and I can't wait to see you reach your goal!

I just discovered your channel and binged all your videos this morning and A-you are the freakin cutest!!! Keep it up! You have the greatest attitude and I just love how honest and mature you are. B-I also love that aside from having a weight loss goal, you are giving yourself a break and not being obsessive about the numbers and the losing. I’m much older than you and have tried every diet known to man and they all worked, until they didn’t. In the process I messed up my metabolism so bad that I basically have to starve myself to see any results at all. So recently I’ve started the intuitive eating approach (and haven’t weighed myself in over a year) and I’m trying to heal not only my metabolism but my ocd with regard to always wanting to be smaller or a certain weight/calorie goals etc. Good for you that you are doing it in such a healthy and body positive way!!! You are motivating me as well even if our goals are a little bit different. C- overall I’m so glad I found your channel and I’m so curious to see what you have in store. You’re so great and motivating and esp on your bad days when your not feeling that inspiring but you’re brave enough to show that, it’s even more inspirational because it so human and real. You are so dang cute! The last time I had leeks was when my grandma taught me to make potato leek soup. You basically boil potatoes and chopped leeks in chicken broth with salt, pepper, and garlic (maybe there were more spices but this was like 20 years ago), throw it in a blender until it's smooth, and then stir in some heavy cream. I remember it being amazing.
Cilantro and coriander is the same plant. After the plant creates leaves it will create a tall steam and set a flower on top. The flower turns to seeds/coriander. These seeds can be grounded into powder.
I'm so excited to find you, and I'm excited to be able to continue my journey with you. I've been needing to lose weight for a wedding. I eating perfectly fine for two weeks and after that 3rd week I just start being eating again, and the cycle starts over. I agree. I’m vegetarian but I do watch a lot of vegan youtubers and I learned early on that you need to make sure that who you’re following isn’t advocating anything weird or unhealthy. I found unnatural vegan is great also pick up
Limes (she’s a registered dietician or nutritionist), cheap lazy vegan, high carb Hannah (although she def buys into the diet culture way too much-but her recipes are very easy) and Edgy Veg, Sweet Simple Vegan and Avant Garde Vegan just you name a few.

I burst into laughter at "I left the skin on the banana" literally about 20 mins ago I was microwaving a banana on defrost for my sons smoothie bowl for the same reason (look into them, they're actually quite nice, great for getting fruit and protein into ur kids and mine actually bloody eat it too) you're doing so great, really loving watching you. I'm working for a transformation too after having my second boy 4 months ago. Really feel like you're realism helps alot when I'm near unconscious after an exercise and the fit ladies on the screen don't even look winded xxxxx

Honestly, I think getting some good kitchen gear can make it less miserable. A Ninja (blender and food processor) and an InstantPot make a huge difference. I 'chop' everything in the food processor because I find chopping to be tedious and boring AF. And the InstantPot is wonderful for those days where you're like "cooking? nah", and you can just chuck every healthy thing you have in your fridge into it, close it, walk away, and come back an hour later with a delicious and healthy meal.
A dishwasher also makes a huge difference because once you start cooking a lot, the dishes are never ending. If you can't get a plumbed in one (e.g., renters), they sell ones that just hook up to your sink. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
Trickius I live in Japan so my kitchen situation is a bit different from what you probably have. I only have two burners on my stove, a small fridge, and a very small microwave oven. I don’t have space for any extra appliances, so I just really need to figure out what recipes are the most time efficient to make 🤣

@@shadowspirit89 Ahhhh, modern asian kitchens can be tough (I lived in Taiwan with a non-existent kitchen for 2 years). Good for you for trying, though. When we lived in Taiwan, we just ate out every single day and literally *never* cooked.

I got recommended one of your videos, and now I've binged most of your content. Not only is this so inspiring to continue my own weight loss journey, but you are also just a funny person to watch.
Basicly, when eating whole foods you get a lot more out of them. You get vitamins, minerals, good fats and carbs that you'll digest in a healthy pace. Because when eating high-carb foods with more fibre you'll digest them slower and you'll get the sugar evenly throughout the day, unlike when eating fast food that gives you a sugar spike and leaves you craving more and feeling hungry, even when overeating.

Somehow you popped up on my recommended. It was your three day water fast video. I realized after checking your channel out that it's apart of your series to lose weight. So now I'm at the end of all your videos after binge watching them. I feel SO inspired to start my journey. I don't want to lose 100. I do want to lose 75. I've been toying with the idea of starting a fast and then going into intermittent fasting to help myself lose weight as well as drink more water. Seeing your struggle but also your weekly accomplishments has really put into perspective that, yes, this will be hard but it is doable. That it doesn't matter how fast I do it as long as I get on this wave and start riding it already. So I'm starting and I'm going to ride this wave with you. You're already doing such an amazing job and I can't wait to see you reach your goal!

I'm following for sure :p I'm already working on my weight loss for some month's now (again...it's life long struggle haha) but As of today the gyms are opening again, and I'm starting a 8 week gym slim down challenge. I just discovered your channel and binged all your videos this morning and A-you are the freakin cutest!!! Keep it up! You have the greatest attitude and I just love how honest and mature you are. B-I also love that aside from having a weight loss goal, you are giving yourself a break and not being obsessive about the numbers and the losing. I’m much older than you and have tried every diet known to man and they all worked, until they didn’t. In the process I messed up my metabolism so bad that I basically have to starve myself to see any results at all. So recently I’ve started the intuitive eating approach (and haven’t weighed myself in over a year) and I’m trying to heal not only my metabolism but my ocd with regard to always wanting to be smaller or a certain weight/calorie goals etc. Good for you that you are doing it in such a healthy and body positive way!!! You are motivating me as well even if our goals are a little bit different. C- overall I’m so glad I found your channel and I’m so curious to see what you have in store. You’re so great and motivating and esp on your bad days when your not feeling that inspiring but you’re brave enough to show that, it’s even more inspirational because it so human and real. I’d much rather watch you than all the “fitness influencers” on RUclips that have perfect bodies and are confident and super well lit every.damn.day. You are me and that gives me hope!!!

The last time I had leeks was when my grandma taught me to make potato leek soup. You basically boil potatoes and chopped leeks in chicken broth with salt, pepper, and garlic (maybe there were more spices but this was like 20 years ago), throw it in a blender until it's smooth, and then stir in some heavy cream. I remember it being amazing.

Cilantro and coriander is the same plant. After the plant creates leaves it will create a tall steam and set a flower on top. The flower turns to seeds/coriander. These seeds can be grounded into powder.
