the iOS 6 appstore can be brought back with a cydia tweak and its fairly clean too with the exception of buy/download button being the ios 7 buttons but going to genius or updates tab will give a cannot connect error but its something for now at least also how rare is the ipod touch 5 on ios 6.0.1

It was another iPad seventh generation, which is running iOS 16.4.1 a it’s kind of weird for me to find new iPads that has iOS 16 or 15 oh really with 14 update since there was one iPad in my school. It was running iOS 14.6, which is pretty cool because it has the old Siri tone especially with iOS 15 however, I’m very happy with 16 or any updates that I have. That is not 17 because 17 was pretty slow on my iPad.
Back in 2017 I managed to get an iPod touch 1st gen on iOS 3, a 4th gen iPod on ios 6 and downgraded it to 5.1.1 successfully I was so amazed how they looked iOS 1-5.1.1 will be always on my heart for ever

I think getting ipad 1 on ios 3 is hard because it was a Completely new device so people didn't know what that was for, and most people probably bought it when it was shipping with iOS 4
for youtube there's a method which uses a custom google API made from the developer APIs of youtube, as for the App Store, I dont know anything other than its certificates expired and Apple didn't renew them.

I got an iPod Touch 4 on 4.1 but it also has no backlight, has ripped speaker wires, and the headphone jack connector is ripped clean off the motherboard 😢. I was sometimes able to get the backlight working by constantly unplugging and reconnecting the screen cable but it was definitely screwed. Maybe sometime I can get the board repairee
My second gen iPad stopped working recently. It starts up with the Apple logo and won’t go any further. Don’t know how to fix it. Third gen one still works but is terribly slow. They’re both in great condition though.
maaan I got an iPad 1st Gen on 3.2.2 but its only blinking a black screen so its a dead battery.. idk if I want to try to replace it.. its sad I bought it literally with showing the home screen and it "died" when arrived.. :( thats the only one in germany i EVER found on 3.

Dont get this personal or me wrong but Im huting from regular people and not overpaying for an old iPad. :D As 99% do and that was the only one yet not being sold by a Collector for a ridiculous price tag. Also got an iPod Touch 4 for 10€ on 4.1 an iPhone 4 for 15€ on 4.0.1 Original aswell as an iPhone 5 for 20€ on 7.0.2. If I would have bought them from Collectors thats 1K probably while I paid 60 bucks. Good Luck though I doubt that if theres not THAT ONE guy/collector as you who REALLY wants that its hard. :) Im not a "real" Collector just like some original software on things that pop up here and there so like a "collector lite" haha
iPad 2 and iPhone4S could be downgraded back to iOS 6.1.3 with relative ease if they’re on iOS 9. There’s no perfect way to downgrade the iPad 3 and 4 unfortunately. iPad 3 and 4 had the beautiful retina screen, they are great to run iOS 6.
I have always dreamed of doing what you're doing now, collecting almost every iOS device on almost iOS version I lost my interest on idevices since iOS 10, the holy grail are iOS 1.0-5.1.1 and Mac os mountain lion they were the most beautiful softwares on earth It's a shame what apple did to the Mac os and iOS since 2015
They're all super outdated hardware with super outdated software. They're also valuable collector items. I think you should look elsewhere, especially if you want a device for daily use that you don't need to jailbreak.

Dont restore that iPad to iOS 9 you should dump blobs and restore (with arduino + usb host shield)
Back in 2017 I managed to get an iPod touch 1st gen on iOS 3, a 4th gen iPod on ios 6 and downgraded it to 5.1.1 successfully

I think 8.4.1 if you use OTA update but if you use iTunes it will go all the way to iOS 9

The App Store/iTunes Store are currently not working without a jailbreak and a tweak because a certificate probably ran out somewhere.

4.3.3 iPad 2s are jailbreakable
I'm pretty sure all iPad 2s are jailbreakable. Those on iOS 9.3 or later only work with tethered jailbreaks though.
