Haven’t skated in 7 years and my son recently wanted to try it out, so I went to a skate shop and built a board to skate with. Over the past week I’ve realized that I still know how to power slide, Ollie, kickflip, and a few more basic things. Teaching my son is going to be fun lol
@@mag2094 well i know i won't break anything as long as i don't try anything too hardcore from the start, but thanks for the tip, being scared does keep you back
Ive only been skating 3 months and just landed my first kickflip. I recently tried going down the ramps at my local skatepark switch and about busted my ass lol. It's a very clear reminder that hey, this is where you were 3 months ago
I'm working on riding the board. I've always liked skateboarding, but I never really was able to get one. I finally did a year ago and I never touched it bc I was scared people would judge me and group me in with the "posers" but I met some very nice people who are helping me build confidence and know that learning is okay, and everyone has to start somewhere.
First ollie over a deck, first kickflip, first 5 stair ollie first ledge trick and the first time when I met my skate friends. These moments were the most memorable for me. Looking forward to many others
My 10 year old daughter just got into skating, which means I’m back into skating, nothing makes you see your own mortality like getting back on a board after a 20 year hiatus
Just started back skating a few months ago. I would try and come back to it but got into basketball for a few years. Landing my 1st ollie in years makes me wished I would have stuck to it more.
Well I started skating when I recently broke my bmx so now I am working on getting consistent in ollies and just fixed my bmx so now I have two reasons to go to the skatepark
Bs tails, FS tails, switch tres, (clean) hardflips, (clean) FS flips, (clean) bs flips, switch heels, nollie heels, crooks, and an ollie and a kickflip down a 3 flat 3 flat 2 set. I work on many things at one time lol
Try to teach a friend. Buy an extra board or something, and maybe a spare helmet. Skateboarding is intimidating and most people are scared to try, but if you have a good setup and a good spot to teach someone how to cruise it’s addictive and they will usually get into it. I just got back into skateboarding and taught two of my three daughters how to and two of their friends now they all like it and as for my third daughter she is happy with the scooter
Cruising is pretty much all I want to do with skateboarding tbh. The dream is to be able to do cruising around town as well as long distance in the countryside with a surfskate.
Man I would luv to start hitting the down rail at my local but it was built without any idea wat a skatepark is they gave up construction halfway through so there a big ass crack between the bank and the flat top and the handrail for some reason gets taller the further it goes out so it gets over a meter high
the thing is with my skate park is that the only thing you can drop in on is like a 6ft halfpipe and i only have a manny pad rail and 2 hubbas there. its really small and my parent wont let me go to the way better one that is only under 2 miles away.
I landed my first kickflip 3 days ago and I was so happy and I almost have them on lock also my best friend landed his yesterday and we screamed and jumped in a bush
yo leave a like on the video if you're breathing air rn 👀
Skate Box no
Skate Box ok

my goal right now is to not break anything learning to skate this year and an ollie

Don’t think of breaking anything cause it’s just gonna set you farther back and you won’t be able to do and learn as many things
@@mag2094 well i know i won't break anything as long as i don't try anything too hardcore from the start, but thanks for the tip, being scared does keep you back
I tried dropping in 3 months ago, fell really bad, and now after 3 months my knee is still in really bad shape....
@@kyleyouknow5532 oh dude that sounds really bad, I hope you get better soon, maybe get some pads and a helment if you dont have them (?)
goal: riding switch
Yes that's hard
Switch september
Make one day a week designated switch day!
Ive only been skating 3 months and just landed my first kickflip. I recently tried going down the ramps at my local skatepark switch and about busted my ass lol. It's a very clear reminder that hey, this is where you were 3 months ago
I JUST LANDED MY FIRST KICKFLIP OMGGG. It only took me a week because I literally practiced 3-4 hours a day I’m so tired 😂
Wait... so u tell me u got a kickflip in 1week?
yeah just got my board a week ago
good job man
Nicee, took me a month trying 3-4 hours a day, a week is really fast
Good for you dude! I’m still trying to skate consistently lol. Keep up the good work!
I'm learning how to shove it but I might start learning the strawberry milkshake it's more appealing
Easier as well
Do it in a no comply and they look sick
😂😂
Learning a Casper stall is also fairly easy and it looks really advanced
Joshua Williams tbh it’s super easy it just looks hard
Fs Flip over a hip yesterday. First time in 15 years!!!!! i got drunk afterwards
good for you

Although I haven't skated in like two years, watching this video made me want to just go out and do a kickflip. So I did...I still got it.
my dream trick right now is to be able to ollie as high as I can do ''stand still'' (which is around 1 meter) and to be able to do that at any speed.
1:51 Racking matters way less if you wear a cup like you’re supposed to when you’re at least learning, plus also other pads in general.
First ollie over a deck, first kickflip, first 5 stair ollie first ledge trick and the first time when I met my skate friends. These moments were the most memorable for me. Looking forward to many others

Landed my first kickflip yesterday after 6 months of skating, best feeling in the world dude
Every time i learn a new trick its just the best feeling in the world and everything feels complete for the day
I thought he was gonna say winning your first game of skate, he took it to another level of conpetition
Just started back skating a few months ago. I would try and come back to it but got into basketball for a few years. Landing my 1st ollie in years makes me wished I would have stuck to it more.
Better late then never man! It's all about having fun with it!
That's exactly what it's all about. Just cruising and poping tricks

0:44 what is this guy even tryin? lmao
ollie?
Grind or ollie down lmao
He was fucked either way lmao
I recently learned how to ollie of 3 stairs it was so fun, but I can't learn how to kickflip it's so hard :(
ikr I've learned switch tricks before i can even kickflip
@@persiadance7605 really? Lol that's actually dope
@@TrenMonster hahaha thanks I just can't understand the landing part why does the kickflip hate us?
You will get it eventually :)
Keep working boys, it'll come
I am at the basics of the Ollie
Ps I did land one but it was like 3 inches in the air 👌😅
meanwhile my only goal is to land my first ollie
its a good goal, start small and then go big, good luck landing it 👌

i just learned tres so ima work on getting them consistent and maybe work on impossibles
The Tre flip had been my dream trick since i started 1 year ago, getting it would be a huge achievement for me lmao
learning hardflips currently definitely one i've been fascinated with for years
Working on consistent kickflips
Bs tails, FS tails, switch tres, (clean) hardflips, (clean) FS flips, (clean) bs flips, switch heels, nollie heels, crooks, and an ollie and a kickflip down a 3 flat 3 flat 2 set.
I work on many things at one time lol
currently trying to learn varial heel, switch flips and nollie flips
My goal is to not fall out of skating again, I skate for a couple months, then winter hits then I don’t get back into it, goal is to stay with it
Landing your first trick is the best feeling in the world
Landing a primo varial flip back to primo was a major one for me, 2 whole years and I'm nearly dialed in I've landed it twice!
Ive been working on an ollie since I just started and Ive learned how to comfortably drop in
I just learned Varial kickflip it is a huge achievment in my opinion because it’s the first time you kombine two tricks
I'm working on front 180s, back 180, and kickflips à little bit
Whats the trick done in 7:10
I’ve only started yesterday and I am learning the basics right now,my goals are to learn how to Ollie and a kick flip
7:09 what is that trick name ?
Bigger Heelflip.
Merlin Twist Late 360 Hardflip or something like that
Amazing vid man
Today I did my first drop in on a small quarter pipe, stoked
I stopped skating but I’m trying to get into again. I quit because I had nobody to skate with tho

6. Trey flip or laser flip
7. Impossible flip
These are my milestones
And hand rail after 5
I can barely boardslide 1 out of 10 tries prolly but wanna do handrails what can I expect and what do I needa do
Went from dropping in, to handrails (rackable), to cruising, to video part lol
I got back disaster witch was one of my dream tricks, I think they look so sick. I'd also love blunt to fakie, or 180 out, but thatll take a while
Trying to land a kickflip without killing my ankles (board keeps hitting my ankles 😭) - any tips for kickflip
I just started skating and do you have any tips
The thing that I’m mostly going for is learning how to Trey flip
Same but with tre flip
Dropping in for the first time
This is helpful thank you
Cruising is pretty much all I want to do with skateboarding tbh. The dream is to be able to do cruising around town as well as long distance in the countryside with a surfskate.
In May 2021 I saw someone drop in on an 8 foot drop so when I was able to do it I was super excited

Jeff Ward no comply
Oliver.stephens _ thx
Rn I’m working on ollies. And I have a question for people who have already learned ollies & that’s how long did it take to learn for you?
0:27 I've just started working on board slides :)
Should I post my Ollie progression or am I gonna get hated on
Post it! There are always people who will hate but the good outweight the bad ones
Honestly id like it but theres gonna b some hate fs maybe do like a progression from ollie to kickflip
My goal is to learn a bs 360 and then have it as my go to trick
I tried dropping into a 5 foot bowl and I kinda broke my arm 🙂💀
4:46
I was looking in the comments to see If anyone else noticed LMAO
I’m working on doing the stance on a skate board because I keep my feet straight when there supposed to be sideways
Landing my first blunt to fakie (with hand grab) was a big moment for me, now I'm trying to learn it without using hand and pop back in
Hey youtube, I recommend this video.
@youtube this guys knows what he's talking about you should probably listen
winning first game of skate
ah that's a good one!
My first proper hardflip after 6 months of struggle
the thing is with my skate park is that the only thing you can drop in on is like a 6ft halfpipe and i only have a manny pad rail and 2 hubbas there. its really small and my parent wont let me go to the way better one that is only under 2 miles away.

@Crispy Milk Hey bro, the Boneless is my favorite trick because it is classic and just over all badass! good choice!
my 360 flip flip was one of my biggest goals
I'm working on varial heel and front heel
My goal rn is just to get that pop done in order to practice that slide for the ollie
I cant land a kickflip but almost have my first heelflip down
Landing a ollie

Day three of learning heal flip I landed with both feet but only my heel on with the back foot 😭
Ollies on some asphalt road, not grass, seems impossible for me right now. #1 goal for me right now!
0:28 kickflips and 50 50s
time to leave a comments so the yt algorithm recommends this to more ppl
You the real MVP 😤
When it worked
it took me 5 years to land a kickflip. When i finally did land it, i started screaming and crying a little haha :D
Learning the pop shove it and getting a cleaner Ollie still a noobie 😂
Backside 180 over something pretty high is my dream trick
Learned a kickflip and a heelflip in the same week i feel like a god
number 8 would be to have fun everytime because skating isnt always about achievements, its about having fun
Im working on clean, consistent ollies then make them high.
