Me too! The fashion first time round on the n.s.scene I love it,takes me way back to the best days ever. Then you could always pick a soulie going to the all nighters, even in a crowd. And to be honest it's nice to see younger generation k.t.f,but they never will feel what we felt first time round. Ain't no soul like the old sole eh.✊
@@tinadavies4195 when I lived at home I drove my parents mental, 1st thing in the morning record on/home at night record on and depending what I got hold of I'd play the same one for weeks. Not to mention the thumping about practicing dancing. 😂 😂
That’s the best video I’ve seen to go with any northern soul tune, really brilliant and what a fantastic tune which I’ve only just discovered today, love, love, love ktf
Fantastic Meaningful Lyrics.. Nice track.. always get em up dancin' away & singing along to it...Luv this one...Great job with the video also.. some great vintage footage from a golden era...
Yes was there great tune and your rite banging great times long may they carry on a brothers n sisters enofugh love and respet to all happy christmas love Russ from Derby KTF A ways x x
Heehee... the video of course has outtakes from the Blackburn videos but it's also got a clip from Clapham Soul club in the late 80s which was on some Saturday morning pop show. I thought that song was the theme tune from Topgun or sommit. Time of my life Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnering? 😂
Christ I have this on an original 7, I'm almost sure I picked it up at one of, record stalls at the side of the dance floor,at the early upnorth soul weekenders in pontins holiday camp 👍👍👍👍👍
The first upnorth soul weekenders at gala gran, then moved to middleton towers for 1 weekender for me were the best. Then moved southport went a few times. But it wasn't as good. As the first 2 venues. Gala Gran wasn't there first weekender think the first was Scotland and move to gala for the 2nd. Goodtimes had.
mega tune one on my play out list mega soul whatever says no rhythm etc this has been a northern SCENE anthem for over 20 yrs where have you been ?? where do you go ?? !!
Not one of my favourite tunes by a long chalk, but nice to see my feet making a guest appearance at 1.34 and footage that I shot of Keb Darge for Channel 4 being rinsed out (yet again) at 3.19. One day someone will pay me usage fees and I might actually have enough money to make my drama 'HEART OF SOUL' - The Greatest Family You Never Had - a reality. #GBP #HOS #KTF
Ah we all looked so young, the guy doing floor work wearing Highland dance shoes, top fella, took whole load o us back to his parents house before we got bus north, don't think his mum was chuffed, living room full o wide eyed kids
