Thank you for your series. I have been dabbling with DS for a wee while and have found your explanations and dems to be excellent. I have just finished number 6 and can, for the first time, start to fully understand the “tree”!
Hi, I've been using DSM for a few years now - it's great for 3d printing stuff I've been recreating a certain plastic brick but actually 25% bigger (it's easier on the head for numbers) and even printed the Sydney Opera House big set (10234) - I live here in Sydney so it was a fun retirement project Having lots of parts means the structure tree gets used a LOT Can you get the Expand and Expand All options to work - they don't seem to want to work for me, especially when things get multiple levels deep Think I saw your Blend video just before finding this one, that's gonna help regenerate/update a few pieces where I've not been successful in creating them so far though many are simple boxes & curves and I've got nearly all the dimensions sorted :) Hope you might have an idea for the Expand option - thanks heaps
Sorry its taken so long to reply... I have noticed the bigger the project gets, the more "buggy" it gets... Not sure what to suggest other than I just updated to the 5.0 version... so maybe three is an improvement?
