Rumor has it the PAckers are interested in him as a Undrafted FA after the draft but that is just a camp look see most likely . This kid..Man is 6'5'' and 230 lbs and he can run well on top of a good arm . What happened to him in college is a crime and schools should not be allowed to dictate a players career like this in the future . The NCAA has to look at this kids career and use it to regulate the league and fix it so talent like him is not force into failure and kept from a chance at playing with the big boys on sundays .

Gary Moore - May the best man win. KT looked awful in the spring game against a dummy D and did little in the games he started or played in last year as far as passing the football. We need our starting QB to be able to read defenses and complete passes, period! We can run the football but to go from good to great we have to be able to PASS the football. I think Zuber is going to be a HUGE addition to the recieving core & I think that Guidry is going to have his breakout year, plus another reciever out of the juco ranks (his name escaped me) should be @ least a 500 yard reciever, so I think we will be just fine there. Just hope we have some accurate passing this year as well.......

@@jsm806 That, I can't say because I don't know But yes true I want the absolute best on the field at E-V-E-R-Y position as well Dak put us on the map BIGTIME with the 1st ever #1 ranking Fitz just didn't muster up enough to keep it close I would've at least tried both he & Thompson together But Nicky Fitz began the season as a Heisman candidate And that's what kept him secure The biggest mistake yet of Moorehead in my humble opinion was not making the switch At least momentarily to spark/provoke Fitz to hit his other gear (taking for granted he had one) Many colleges make early, midseason, to late QB changes Hopefully QB competition drives both these men to their peak And may the best man win out

Trace McSorley, who I respected as PSU starter, oh by the way, followed Franklin to PSU from Vanderbilt and just might have had an edge when he beat Tommy Touchdown (TT) for the starter job. When Franklin didn't commit to TT starting after McSorley's departure, he decided he had better move on. TT is exciting to watch and is a triple threat for sure as a passer, runner, and receiver. All I know is I'll be watching a SEC game for the first time in a long time just to see how Mississippi State does. Here's hoping for the play offs ! Beat Alabama please.
LOL...show me some tape of him playing QUARTERBACK versus Ohio State, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Once "coach" Moorehead had me lining up at receiver in the bowl game I would have transferred if I were Keyton. Moorehead obviously has a problem with black quarterbacks and because of that he's gonna take Keyton out for every little mistake he makes, unlike Fitzgerald who he NEVER took out last season, and this will for sure divide that locker room and they will be lucky to win 5 games this year.

I think you are spot on. Miss. State should not have lost but one game last year! It hurt as a fan to watch Nick struggle to make a forward pass in those games we lost and Moorehead stuck with him. However, I would understand if the performances were average but he was horrible and you had a bowl winning quarterback on the bench! I truly believe Miss. State and Tenn. made the wrong hires as coach because Jeremy Pruitt fit sour team better and where we are as a program and Moorhead fits Tennessee better for the long haul.
Moorehead won't look so smart if he causes dissention and hurts morale by taking this guy who has only a 58% pass completion rate (Nicki Fitz had a 55% completion rate) over KT. KT is a better passer than was Fitz and he could run the ball as well. The Belk Bowl in 2018 proved that.
If KT would've started for us we would hve won a couple of those important games. Our defense only gave up 3.5 points going into halftime so I know we would've been able to score enough to win
Stevens has attempted 41 passes to KTs 105 and KT has a 48% completion percentage to Stevens 59%. I don't really think at this current moment anyone could say that KT is hands down the better passer of Fitz and Stevens. Let them battle it out and we'll see who starts come the first game, but you should paint the whole picture before hammering JoMO.
