I’ve been using lava for dying my baits for a while now. The Berry in the autumn months when blackberries and elderberries start falling into the water, small feed pellet or micro wafters dyed are spot on for the Roach. I have just bought the salted caramel oil to add to my Krill wafters and pop-ups for the Tench. I’m definitely going to be using this idea for my Bream fishing. I’ll use the haze as well, the choc orange with the scopex or the washed out flouro I reckon will be awesome autumn/winter bait. The Thatchers groundbaits are my go to for my summer fishing, it’s awesome stuff!
"I would top up if I’d had a lot of action including liners and then felt the fish had moved off, if not and it was just steady action I’d rely on the feeder’s topping the swim back up. Maybe casting a little more regularly if I wanted a response."

What's a bait up feeder ? Not seen one
Brilliant video, very informative. When would you think about topping up, or do you just rely on the bait in the feeder? Cheers Tony Banks.

How would you change your approach when fishing pellets, is it Pellet only?
Great video, as always, What are the nodules all over the middle fish? Is it some sort of parasite thing in the water?
I think theyre from spawning
Hi Andy,
It's a sign that they are pre or post spawn. They cause no irritation to the fish and is very common at this time of the year.
Far to much bait wow !
