That's a nice two tone Bream. I used to fish here as a kid with my dad, me with a toy rod watching him bag up on the feeder until he got stung around his eye by a wasp. I drive past there on the M42 on the way to work but haven't been fishing there for years. Those are big Bream by West Midlands standards. My uncle fished Kingsbury the other day and said no one caught anything! The only lake I'm told has double figure Bream is Coombe Abbey in Coventry.

Great catch of bream - could I ask if you can fish dawn to dusk or is fishing access to the park limited to the the advertised opening times which change throughout the year?
Depending on the time of year sometimes it opens at 5:30 some 7:00
not sure if said, but was the lake bodymore heath. i like big bream and always heard of big bream in bodymore but have yet to fish it. have you ever fished blackroot pool in sutton park
