I'm so glad to see young ladies watching this!! I wish this guy was there when I was growing up, trying to figure out my way with relationships and love. I'm grateful though to have heard him before I turn 40 in a few years. I'm in no hurry to get married unless I can find a partner with the right level of maturity to help me build. Pointers to girls, get to know the man well. Study his character and the company he keeps. Listen to how he communicates with people and how much he lets you in. Please please don't be fooled by the exterior facades:; hair, car, religion (very careful here!). With the right support and mindset a man can rebuild himself at any age and men who've turned sketchy past into solid characters deserve close attention. Read read and study human psychology and traits of narcissism and the likes. You will save yourself alot of trouble. The way I see it God knows we men are prone to be stupid and slow to mature...that's why our capability to produce is extended almost indefinitely. Women have been blessed with innate understanding and discernment because of your womb and your responsibility to carry life. I am a first born girl and i cannot wait to get married and allow someone to take care of me. I am tired of constantly giving and parents having so many expectations. Even whilst I was in university, when I would stay in my room and revise I was seen as anti social and unhelpful. Then, when I graduated they expected me to help more around the house. I am not your maid. If you cannot afford a maid then distribute the house chores amongst all your children.

Reality I love Benjamin advise I am a first born in our family I got married when I was 25 and I was very ready but the guy was two years younger than I and after 9 years at foreign country he decided to marry a young girl it was yesterday I was trying to revise the tape of my head and I have come to realise age matters most because to me I needed a mature gentleman who could have understand me and ready to take me as I am but this 2 years gap I notice the guy could not wait for me to come back Home and after spending my money on him and our children he was supporting his side chik where they end up settling together so for me age matters most

Your really right, am the first born but at 18 l was like 35 in my thinking.l.nwver had friends of my age coz everyone blamed me.for thinking ahead of my age but the problem was p had of responsibilities to work hard and pay for my siblings which one was my dream since childhood considering l was coming from a poor family.

@Full circle with Joyce, I will like to suggest a topic with Benjamin. What does a child need for full development and stability. Is co-parenting a good thing really for the child and will this child be as stable as one who grew in actual family with a father and mother together? What's the psychology behind this. I think co-parenting does not solve the problem fully. This discussion is very important. Before we get children it is important that we ensure they will have a present father and mother together. As Benjamin says, children are not born by wind pollination. I would really love such a discussion. I believe a child who is bred out out of a family set up will lack some thing. Me and my wife have been together for 18 years and just got back together three days ago after being separated for 6 months. Divorce was on the docket but we are doing our best to keep this from happening. Things are definitely looking up but it's still very challenging but it seems to get better every day. We have three children, 2 boys with autism (17 & 3) and our baby girl with Down Syndrome. Our daughter with Down Syndrome had two open heart surgeries fairly recently at 5 months old, then a pacemaker installed. She also has Hirschsprung's disease which led to her having a colostomy bag installed at five days old. She has several more surgeries to go. If I can say this to anyone, I would tell you do what you need to do to make it work. Sometimes you need to suck it up. You can't be fickle. Fight for your family. People say you shouldn't stay together for your children, well that's fine. But if you still love each other as well as your children and are split due to circumstances or tragedies that have put you in a state of constant depression, stress, about everything you can imagine in this situation like this, then you must come together and not give up. You must keep moving forward and keep on fighting. Many other people have it a lot easier or a lot worse than me/us but I've certainly come out of the other side a lot more knowledgeable and appreciative of my wife and all the things our family is capable of when we are a team instead of constantly at odds and bickering. We are learning to get along again and not take our stress out on each other and our kids get to enjoy both of their parents as well. This is what it's all about. For all of you going through tough times out there, keep your chin up and like I said, don't stop fighting, don't lose hope, never lose hope. If you truly care about the other person you're married to, you can't lose hope and you need to keep fighting. If you don't, then it's time to pack it up and move on. The way I see it God knows we men are prone to be stupid and slow to mature...that's why our capability to produce is extended almost indefinitely. Women have been blessed with innate understanding and discernment because of your womb and your responsibility to carry life. I am a first born girl and i cannot wait to get married and allow someone to take care of me. I am tired of constantly giving and parents having so many expectations. Even whilst I was in university, when I would stay in my room and revise I was seen as anti social and unhelpful. Then, when I graduated they expected me to help more around the house. I am not your maid. If you cannot afford a maid then distribute the house chores amongst all your children.

What does a child need for full development and stability. Is co-parenting a good thing really for the child and will this child be as stable as one who grew in actual family with a father and mother together? What's the psychology behind this.
I think co-parenting does not solve the problem fully. This discussion is very important. Before we get children it is important that we ensure they will have a present father and mother together.

Me and my wife have been together for 18 years and just got back together three days ago after being separated for 6 months. Divorce was on the docket but we are doing our best to keep this from happening. Things are definitely looking up but it's still very challenging but it seems to get better every day. We have three children, 2 boys with autism (17 & 3) and our baby girl with Down Syndrome. Our daughter with Down Syndrome had two open heart surgeries fairly recently at 5 months old, then a pacemaker installed. She also has Hirschsprung's disease which led to her having a colostomy bag installed at five days old. She has several more surgeries to go. If I can say this to anyone, I would tell you do what you need to do to make it work. Sometimes you need to suck it up. You can't be fickle. Fight for your family. People say you shouldn't stay together for your children, well that's fine. But if you still love each other as well as your children and are split due to circumstances or tragedies that have put you in a state of constant depression, stress, about everything you can imagine in this situation like this, then you must come together and not give up. You must keep moving forward and keep on fighting. Many other people have it a lot easier or a lot worse than me/us but I've certainly come out of the other side a lot more knowledgeable and appreciative of my wife and all the things our family is capable of when we are a team instead of constantly at odds and bickering. We are learning to get along again and not take our stress out on each other and our kids get to enjoy both of their parents as well. This is what it's all about. For all of you going through tough times out there, keep your chin up and like I said, don't stop fighting, don't lose hope, never lose hope. If you truly care about the other person you're married to, you can't lose hope and you need to keep fighting. If you don't, then it's time to pack it up and move on. But if you love her or him, keep fighting, HARD!
