It doesn't detract from Professor Kwon's marvelous talk which I thoroughly enjoyed, but Kim Il Sung died in 1994 (not 1993 as was said a few times during the lecture). He passed just before he was due to meet South Korean president Kim Yong-sam. Very much a sliding doors moment for the people. Loved the Kim Jong Il dream story given here!! Big fan of Professor Kwon's two recent books and recommend them to anyone interested in the Korean Peninsula.
