yeah its said it's bout to be demolished. i was in Chicago yesterday visiting from Detroit i took pictures in front of it . it currently has a gate around it. Chicago should make this house a natural landmark its a huge tourist attraction. instead of tearing it down we grew up watching this house on tv. this one of the sights people from out of town comes to see besides the stadiums, six flags, and the jordan statue.
That's exactly what brought me and my friends. It was a quick trip to Chicago for all of us and the three of us all agreed on one attraction to see. This was my choice!
hey every one that house is history gone its bean sold by owners son.the owners building 3 flat house in its space i work right a cross the street in park so i know lots info in it se at park if u ever in area .
So sad, how do you sell an iconic house like that? It is pop culture value in that alone. The new house will probably be as ugly as the house that was built next door that replaced the original house also seen on the Family Matters intro.
