It's amazing how bradley knew about all these great songs without the internet.
Theire was a time before the internet, and we had these places called recored shops..
I was just thinking that how shitty to buy the whole record to listen to one song and how do you find music back then
See thats the genius that alot dont realize. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
i think this is the first time i've ever seen a truly happy guy doing whatever the fuck he wants
You should make a spotify playlist of all of the samples that were used. A good way to expose everyone, great work!
Bradley Is Called the Boss DJ... Hence the reason he mixed so much song to make his own.
You left me kinda speechless with this one
R.I.P BRADLEY, my personal Jimi Hendrix

Now I know what music brad was into. Dope.

Hot summer days when I was sixteen riding around I only had 1 CD in the car Robbin the Hood. That was my soundtrack. Pass out in the loft of my cabin wake up and do it all over again.
Lots of kids on here talking about sublime biting. Meanwhile everyone else is running to get the original songs. It all cones back around. Thank you Funktual sharing kowledge

I actually have a playlist on itunes where I drag sublime influence songs when i come across them. Ive been doing it for years. Now I see this and my mind is totally blown apart. I took detailed notes and now I am going to drop lots of money to get everything you listed. Your excitement is contagious. You are a genius my friend. Thank you so much for all this hard work. wow!

Your videos are sick bro and this music brings me back to a better time in my life when i was a kid and my family was still all alive... Its amazing how things change and people leave this world but im so thankful for the times we had and this music we use to all love. SUBLIME Is The Band That BROUGHT US TOGETHER! :) Thanks for making this video you remind me of my kuznt who also passed. I sit here listening to these songs by myself and i remember when we use to all chill and listen to this..

Awesome!!!
First time I've watched you man....I really enjoyed it! You did a very nice Job! Thank you!
@boogie504 its cool I just got onto this because it was connected to sublime vids and my cousin passed away and his favorite band all day was sublime. Thanks for sharing though brother. With love

Thanks for this
i listened to this album 100 times
Here in 2019 and this guy is life
Great knowledge!! 👍🏽
Lol... wow man that was pretty cool knowledge you kicked to us,,, it’s like Brad was paying homage to all his favorites ,,,, sweet vid bro,,,
Great video
Biggest Sublime fan here but, damn. Pinching a lot of melodies and music there. Still love it
Wsn't stealing, he put his style to them and made alot of it better.. Just like how guitarist use other guitarist riffs but make them their own or their style..
I'm surprised you didn't mention George Gershwins "Summertime" when talking about "Doin time". The chorus is practically identical. Amazing how Bradley put so many great songs together with his own style.
Damn dude blew my mind. I knew they had a handful of covers but i didnt know all these. Its ok bradley still the king.
love it bro
all music is forever connected ! love this shit !
and thanks for the knowledge once again.
Bradley lives in sublime
Subscribed!!!
You know your stuff brody
Great videos dude. Sublime is my favorite band of all-time, and while I knew most of these, there were a few I didn't, especially Doin' Time, and some of the hip-hop references. I've yet to get around to actually downloading Rewind Selector, which is basically all the songs with the bands/singers Bradley and his crew sampled. Bradley had one hell of a collection of music, as music was his life. Your video makes me want to check out all that old-time reggae and truly understand Bradley's genius. I guess that's why Rome will never compare to Brad, simply because he doesn't have the true reggae influences.
I just love your enthusiasm as well. I can tell you're a superfan, and I totally am somewhere on that wavelength. I just don't have all those old records and tracks to show for it, although someday I know I will. It is an inevitability.
check out the rewind selector if you haven't already, also i have every bootleg from them pm me if you would like them. over 400 songs!
lstynerl I don't have the official Rewind Selector, but I did download the original songs from it that I liked. I have about 35-40 bootleg songs as well, ones that I couldn't get anywhere else. I have a list of all his bootlegs, and I download the ones that I've never heard before. If it's just another live version of a song I already have 3 live versions of, I skip it. I have over 200 Sublime songs in total, which is comprised of all their albums, and a lot of bootlegs, including the ones that were on the EUTS DVD that I enjoyed. Thanks for the offer, though. There's 3 or 4 other bands in this genre I'm really digging right now (Matisyahu, Dirty Heads, Pepper, LBDA), so I've got enough music for now. Maybe later, though.
Andrew Brunelle you are right bro
Rome does have tho's Influences, he was raised on Reggae and hiphop..
Andrew Brunelle You can’t compare Rome with Brad. Obviously they grew up with different influences but you gotta give it to Rome for being original and not sampling and mashing everything.
one of the most implicated fan ! thx for working man, your happiness is contagious . and also knew that Brad is in peace !!! i will talk about him to my little children !!!! we need to remember and -we have to give that Brad would done if he were not gone- (that is good english ?)
Amazing... Peace from the LBC!
Now I know why. Sublime.! Hidden songs with in songs. Wow!
That would be "Lady Madonna" by The Beatles.
Much love to great music and good times,
Yon Bo - Out!!!
brilliant!!!
the first 2 vids i got it, knew about it....this actually got me LOL good shit
ma man i still gotta get at u wit those drum samples, but yooo... wenever i watch ur videos i end up leaving going to search for those songs!!! its crazy lol...
amazing!
this is like music history!!!!!!!!
I recognize that Bradley is a genius and I'm one of the biggest sublime fans.. but I had no idea SO many of their songs are covers. It's like 80% he just changed them/mixed them and combined them. I'm not gonna lie I'm a little sad that he didn't write all this stuff himself. Am I alone in this? how do most of you feel?
Agreed, I still like them but it honestly ruined their music a bit for me. I didn't realize Brad ripped off soooooo much.
He didn't rip off shit you absolute ape hangers. Don't you realize that in the lbc there was rappers like snoop dog and shit making hip-hop which is 100% music from jazz or funk they didn't play guitar or sing like Bradley. hes also paying respect to the reggie musicians that inspired him
It actually made me appreciate bradley as a boss DJ even more
It just shows that Brad loved this music and wanted to pay tribute. All bands have influences that can be heard. The sound of Eric Bud and Brad is still Sublime. And they did have a decent amount of pure original music. Santeria, same in the end, Burritos, Paddle out, Romeo… Slow Ride, Right back… their original songs are just as cool.
Imitation's the highest form of flattery, and all though it sucks that that's how it is, still hold onto ALL the beautiful times and memories Sublime's music gave to you brother :)
Sublime 4ever !!!!!!!!!!
I like this guy
I love your videos yo! you remind me of my guy Todd who is also a DJ. All DJ"s Are Kooks!! Hahah and I love it Yo. Keep Spinnin Yo!
good shit man
That's was the whole point to recreate such amazing n inspiring music and make something new n fresh for that time but at the same time still kept it underground with old school hits , if anything Bradley is the genuine creator of recreating great music the right way unlike the new era music were everything yu here is off of something butbjust wasn't did right never going to be better than Bradley himself obviously giving great tribute to his lifestyle and music inspiration.
I need to see the others but I can't leave..
I guess your right. I still love getting blazed with friends jammin to sublime
I wanted to hate your over the top reactions but they were great. the music is just too good. Big ups my man this shit should be taught in school
Much love for the breakdown. All the music is from influence, I heard a sunfest reference, vie moved from Dallas to WPB, and no one I meet digs it. Hit me up to exchange ideas. Much love and respect
so fucking sad..his story...he wanted to get clean and just couldnt fight it....same as andy wood....both r legends..rip thee best whoever walked this earth..
I bought that cd like 4 times I played it so much and it got stolen a bunch but I loved the art in the cd face
Just enjoy the music bro........Thats all you can do.
Hey man, cool videos, I am from Sonora Mexico and been working on a Sublime tribute with a band. Subbed to your channel!
HERBIE MANN
Memories all coming back to me...
