Hi friends! I edited this video and I’m a huge fan of the Try Guys, so I pretty much had the best time ever editing this Spectrum episode. I love seeing the guys being themselves (definitely laughed a lot at my desk while going through the footage), but I also appreciated their openness about the behind the scenes & struggles of running a RUclips channel. Really ironic that Ned admits he would probably get recognized at an Ed Sheeran concert but felt totally comfortable publicly cheating at a Harry Styles concert.
Keith is secretly a little bit conceited lol. I remember when they did the lie detector test they asked for he thought he was the funniest and he said, "no" and failed hahaha
Yet I swear if there was a poll he would be the most popular. It doesn't really matter how beloved you are if you can't love and accept yourself. I hope he gets there.

That is cool, but if you don't want a specific try guy then they do have hoodies that are a mix of all their colors and that hoodie is typically not sold out.

Being known and having large platform comes with hate. It doesn't matter if you're the least it must unproblematic person ever, you're still going to get hate
I think they were the ones with when they redid Keith and Becky's and then Zach and Maggie's apartments. Both episodes involved having the guys get rid of some of their stuff and people thought it was misandrist that only the women's ideas for the space were being taken into consideration. Even though both Zach and Keith were onboard with the redesign, and it was shown that they had too much stuff that made the space non-functional. Ariel even found ways to keep some of their silly trinkets in the redesigned space in a way that was tasteful. People just complain to complain sometimes...
Did you actually see any of them? I don't think hateful comments were necessary but some comments about how the wives pretty much influenced everything and disregarded whatever influence the husband's had were spot on.

I really enjoyed hearing Keith give his answers and perspective on things. I feel he is so much more intelligent and thoughtful then the videos show. I know loud comedy Keith is a bit but it was still nice to see.
I've binging all the try guys videos again and here is the thing keith came up with without a recipe and it's always been the most watched series .. people usually aren't able to see his intelligent and thoughtful side because I feel people just see him as the funny loud Keith. He is funny but also he is intelligent, sweet , thoughtful guy and nah he is not an underrated try guy.
Eugene STILL getting negative comments about his race and sexuality and Ned admitting that there were a bunch of negative comments about all their significant others makes me sick.
A friend had this before. His prom date was his best friend's sister. She hooks up with a guy in the washroom and left while he was left in shambles. The guy she left with? His other best friend. Also, this best friend was the nerd/geek of the group and this dude's singing acapella for a Christian youth group. So Star Trek kind of nerd cucked some guy singing Christian songs.

i hope he doesn’t feel too pressured to be the strong representative. He is just human, he can make mistakes, he can think differently. Although it might not be as simple for him as he is on the internet and the internet is always ready to judge. I have a brother who was also ridiculed as a kid because he is Korean and although I feel bad for every kid that is being bullied, it breaks my heart especially to think about another little Asian kid being ridiculed for the shape of his eyes, his language, culture and race. Although my brother is grown up now and considered to be very handsome by everyone, it’s heartbreaking to think that his past probably still affects him as it does Eugene,

I remember there was a discussion in comments on how Eugene was a great representative figure for Asian Masculinity. Before Eugene, I literally could not think of an objectively "hot" asian masculine man represented in any media. And then in that thread it devolved into a discussion about his sexuality and how "it would be a shame if he were gay" because for some reason that nullifies his "sexiness" to women, and it definitely makes sense to me that he would wait so long to come out based on the comments he was getting.

Yeah its extremely disgusting as like being a celebrity or famous you feel like you don't get privacy and people don't treat you like a human being. Jealousy is probably the biggest reason of this issue, some fans think that they have an opportunity to marry a certain someone whos famous when theres billions of other human being who has a higher chance meeting that certain someone

If it’s the video I think it is, the controversy came from the wives seemingly really putting down zach’s interests so it had less to do with disliking the entertainer and more with “protecting them” (not that I’m condoning it by any means )

Watching Eugene saying that he NEEDS to be strong and empowering ALL the time is super heartbreaking. Watching him for years prior to 2nd Try and now, I’ve always seen him as strong because he can sometimes (OBVIOUSLY NOT ALWAYS) show his emotions and be vulnerable because I think that shows strength more than anything. ❤️

I kind of felt sad whenever Eugene wouldn’t go to the agree side when everyone else did for the “I am the best try guy.” prompt. I know he’s had some problems with insecurities, and I really hope he knows how much we love and support him, and how much he’s inspired us especially those of us in the lgbt and poc communities.
That confused me, because like I would be the person who would expect me and my four closest friends to all be in the strongly agree side. You should always think that you are the best. And agree that your partners are too.

I feel like Eugene and Keith are both so different but still Eugene likes even admires Keith so much (I’ve felt this at many points while watching their vids that Eugene likes Keith the best) because despite of being different Keith always respects and understands his opinions , he always listens whereas others might not be so easily swayed and are a bit adamant (nothing wrong with that it’s just their personality) so yeah they gel so well because both of them are very understanding people :) i love their friendship 💗

I like how Eugene makes it seem like Zach annoys him, but they constantly had the same mindset on several things when Keith and Ned didn't. I just wanted to point that out cause I love their friendship. The amount of respect and love these men have for each other is so heartwarming, and I'm happy that everyone sees it too.
When Zach was speaking about self confidence and allowing himself to be himself and be happy and confident, Eugene looked so proud for him. I easily could be reading too much into it, but I swear that's what I saw in Eugene's expression.
Really hope that doesn't happen unless the Try Guys are the ones that make it, but either way, 9:21-9:29 aged so badly it's kinda hilarious. Don't get me wrong, what happened is obviously horrible, and the remaining guys deserve all the respect in the world for responding so well, but like... this clip. Genuinely my heart dropped when I saw Neds face reacting to the question whether comments affect him or not. It’s heartbreaking to hear both his and Eugenes response. As hard as you try it can be very difficult to brush things off, especially when it’s so many people saying the same thing. I hope hearing that response will hopefully help the situation. I’m glad they were honest and open about it, takes courage to do that.

She absolutely loved sports and hanging out with all the boys (I'm a camp counselor) and for the entire summer this poor 7 year old girl got, essentially, harassed, gossipped about, and bullied by some of the other girls in another group becuase she would have her hair all messy after running and she was a bit more eccentric (also had ADHD). But, no child deserves to be hated by their peers becuase they are different.
Don’t we all put pressure on are selves? Of course too much pressure is bad but sometime putting a little pressure on ourselves makes us a better person. We’re supposed be the best version of ourselves, but that doesn’t mean you push yourself over you limit.
I feel like Eugene and Keith play off of each other so well. Even though they've both come from completely different places and have completely different personalities, I just love the way the two of them are able to speak and listen to each other.
The podcast eugene and Keith did with just the two of them is my absolute favorite! They compliment each other incredibly well and can be goofy as well as having a really focused interesting conversation

I personally think the try guys changed Eugene a lot from an outside perspective. I remember back then when he was at buzz feed everyone was kinda scared of him and while fans thought he was hot, everyone saw him as a tough guy thats really perfectionistic and will indeed yell at you if you won't do it the way he wants to. I think now we see so many more sides of eugene and I really really love him!
The editing on this episode is a lot more casual and exciteable than your regular spectrum videos, I like it! I don't think it should be a regular thing but an occasional video of just low-stakes fun like this amongst all your meaningful things is awesome

honestly it’s so sad to see the guys reaction to the hate comment question, in particular ned and eugene. they created their videos and this channel and their company to make people happy and to do fun things with their friends but in response to that some people still find the need to hate on them for no reason. i think all the try guys are amazing and they deserve nothing but kindness in return for their amazing personality and what they’ve done. personally, i have depression and watching their videos makes me so happy. i love them

I kind of felt sad whenever Eugene wouldn’t go to the agree side when everyone else did for the “I am the best try guy.” prompt. I know he’s had some problems with insecurities, and I really hope he knows how much we love and support him, and how much he’s inspired us especially those of us in the lgbt and poc communities.
That confused me, because like I would be the person who would expect me and my four closest friends to all be in the strongly agree side. You should always think that you are the best. And agree that your partners are too.
Maybe to him "I am the best" means "better than all my friends" and he's just not about that.

Genuinely my heart dropped when I saw Neds face reacting to the question whether comments affect him or not. It’s heartbreaking to hear both his and Eugenes response. She absolutely loved sports and hanging out with all the boys (I'm a camp counselor) and for the entire summer this poor 7 year old girl got, essentially, harassed, gossipped about, and bullied by some of the other girls in another group becuase she would have her hair all messy after running and she was a bit more eccentric (also had ADHD). I personally think the try guys changed Eugene a lot from an outside perspective.
