Lilah's voice and how she acts reminds me so much of Alaska it's crazy. Also, Xiavier is the most attractive person in this video. Like damn, he's so good looking.
(I copy/posted this response from another reply I made on a different comment so I'm sorry if some of the things make no sense. Also for a little background: I'm non-binary and I was basically explaining the dysphoria that comes with existing. Also as a tl;dr: Imagine constantly being uncomfortable with yourself and the only only way to be comfortable is by changing how you look, whether it be by hormones or surgery, just to relieve as much discomfort as possible. (I just added this tl;Dr just in case you don't want to hear me explain dysphoria) For me it's just a constant feeling of discomfort that not even I can explain. It's just always there for no reason and I have no way of getting rid of it. It's kind of like being mad for no reason. You don't know why you're mad and you can come up with reasons why you might be mad but in the end you never truly know why you're mad. For me that's the same as my uncomfortableness. I'll never know why people assuming I'm female or calling me female pronouns makes me uncomfortable and I'll never know why people assuming I'm male or calling me male pronouns makes me uncomfortable. All I know is that it feels wrong and it'll most likely never feel right. There are even days when being perceived as any gender and having being called any pronoun, whether it's he, she, or they, makes me uncomfortable. And I'll probably never know why that is. Some days I can handle it and I can barely notice it's there. Other days simply existing makes me want to off myself because the amount of discomfort I feel is too overwhelming and I just want to be a normal person and not have to go through this. I'd really love to tell you the cause of the constant discomfort, but even I don't know the cause. Thank you for listening and I hope you stay safe during these hard times ❤.
Well just as an experiment because I didn't believe everything on the Internet I totally one summer At the beginning put for chicken nuggets and for French fries from McDonald's under my car Driver seat And left it until Winter..... above everything else- do *not* eat their ice cream. their machine might have roaches, mice, spoiled milk, mold, or asbestos and they still won't clean it. that's why the ice cream machine is always broken.
Love the videos and am definitely not complaining, but a slight constructive idea: maybe try asking more provocative questions? An example for this video would have been 'should children be allowed to transition', or 'should transpeople be able to use their preferred bathroom if they haven't transitioned?'. A lot of the more centred questions are going to have less variance, and it would be interesting to see first hand opinions from the group on the more controversial statements.
I personally like this format, at least for a first video. I think it works more to humanize a group of people than to make pointed political arguments.
I was under the impression that the point of this series is to show that stereotyping of a group dont make sense because like all things, there is a spectrum
I cant even imagine how they get treated. I'm a female with a poker flat chest rear end and no curves and a pixie cut. I got asked at least 9 times if I was transgender. The relief I see in some peoples faces when I say no I'm just really thin is upsetting. They all have really strong spirits.

On top of all that, she is incredibly smart, intelligent, and politically active. Should’ve asked “is gender dysphoria necessary to be trans?” I’ve noticed a divide in the trans community when it comes to this question so it would’ve been interesting to hear what this group of people think.
Emily Graham
The answer is yes, that’s what trans is. Anyone who says no is a transtrender at this point.
Also people who say they don't have gender or are anything that female or male aren't trans... So why is one in the video? Trans is when someone brain function like the other sex... So people who say they don't have gender they don't belong here
Anna Mrl that’s not what being trans is. being trans is the disconnect from the gender assigned at birth, which is what dysphoria is. non binary people feel a disconnect from the gender assigned at birth, and are therefore trans
@@dominic-ir5zs you aren't assigned a gender at birth you are assigned a sex based on your genitals, it's just a medical observation. Transition means to move from one state to another so if you don't change anything or aren't changing to a defined state ie. male to female you aren't trans simple as.
Are "non-binary" people invalid in their experience? No but it's not the same as being transsexual and people should stop trying to piggy back their pet project minority's issues on the flavour of the month sacred cow because all it does is muddy the water.
Alexandra Henderson nope. The APA, NHS and WHO say you don’t need dysphoria to be trans. You only need a disconnect from your birth gender. Dysphoria is distress

You sound like a great person
As a trans guy, thank you. Some people can't even bother to do that.
(I copy/posted this response from another reply I made on a different comment so I'm sorry if some of the things make no sense. Also for a little background: I'm non-binary and I was basically explaining the dysphoria that comes with existing.
Also as a tl;dr:
Imagine constantly being uncomfortable with yourself and the only only way to be comfortable is by changing how you look, whether it be by hormones or surgery, just to relieve as much discomfort as possible.
(I just added this tl;Dr just in case you don't want to hear me explain dysphoria)
For me it's just a constant feeling of discomfort that not even I can explain.

@@edt973nj on that subject you will need more than just a simple non argumented affirmation to be seen as something else than a troll. scientifically transidentity isn't a illness. nut we lake studies and more importantly reliable sudies, the political context destroy the objectivity of the sudies on both side, for now the fex somwhat reliable studies don't classify transidentity as a illness. maybe it is, maybe it isn't. to know if it's the case or not ou need to learn about scientific methodology, how to run an experiment properly avoiding every exterior factor non relevent to the study (and that's hard, you need to creat a really precise contexte) find a reprensentative population (this depend of the total population, but the margin of error calculated at the end must be in the 0.001 - 0.002 range maximum, if it's not the case the study is far less reliable) finding enought people is often hard, espacially in the case of the study of a minority. then after the study you need to analyse the result objectivly and draw a conclusion objectively too. then for the sudy to be verified you need to writte every steps of your method precisly so that someone can do the same experiment again and check the results, if the results are check multiple time and stay right, then it's right scientifically, wich means "right with the technologies and studies of today, right until proven false by other studies and technologies".
if you're able to prove you've done this or someone else did it and proved the statement you did, then ok. if it's not the case, please don't make false statement and just put "i think" before your statement because it's a personal belief and not a truth. if someone tell you "tansgender perople arn't mentally ill" then technically they're in the scientific truth, but as i said earlyer, those studies aren't really reliable because of the political contexte so you can ask the people who make this statement to use "I think" explaining why if needed.
you can think scientifically and choose to believe in nothing and only look for the truth and in that case use the words "I know" or "I don't know" or making statement as truth like you did but if you doesn't have the informations and don't want to do those studies and spend decades working on those subject, you should use "I think" like most people should do.
@@Skaelya have you heard of gender disforia?
*please do all introverts think the same ! I need that in my life*
Good idea !
Bryan Carter Good idea, but I don't think introverts would like to be in that situation, being in a room full of people and saying your opinion. Extroverts would be easier.
I wonder if they'll be lively no offense
@@in_theMoment Being an introvert does not mean that you are socially awkward and shy. That can sometimes be the case, but being an introvert really just means that you need time to yourself after social interaction. You can't really tell the difference between introverts and extroverts just by talking with them. Most normal introverts would do fine in this situation
@@in_theMoment i am an introvert and i would gladly do that. Im the type that seems like an extrovert but im im totally introverted
Ty looks exactly like someone I know personally and it trips me out how similar she looks! She’s really pretty. Also it killed me to hear how dysphoria and depression hurt one of them enough to minimize such a great accomplishment like graduating college. I’m so proud of all of them
I wasn't surprised when Xavier went to disagree when it came to the dating question. He's fine as hell.
