I am a slow learner and your video is the best quickstep tutorial I've ever watched. Thank you.

Superb. I love the multiple demos from different angles. Best teachers I've found for this.

Thank you very much for this tutorial! I loved that you showed each move multiple times and from different angles, as it really helped me understand the dance better. Great work!

Going to outside partner for any move after the basic? Brilliant! I wish my instructor were doing it that way, as we are staying in closed position for the progressive chasse. It would be so simple for both lead and follow to know that we are moving to outside partner after any basic quarter turn to the right.

Hi. I love the name squashy quick step and i think you are experts at compressed ballroom dancing.:-) That was amazing keeping it all that within view of the camera and the floor space. Thank you for pointing out that I can turn earlier onto my left leg in the first step of the leader's spin turn. That has made a big difference. I appreciate your videos. The technical breakdown and detail is of enormous value. Thank you.

Always thought the leader started on the left foot

Hi Peter, Your can start with either foot, depending on what you are dancing, and ensuring that is communicated well with your partner. The great news is you can't go wrong. If you wanted to start with the left foot in this variation, then you would add a preparation walk on the left foot before the right forward forward as James started here.
The great news is you can never go wrong.
      Kind Regards, James & Joanna
