Damn, you have some powerful cards in there for sure but not much actual zombie synergy.
    A few suggestions:
For your Liliana synergy also look into nested shambler which with phyrexian altar will send you mana infinite.
Grave crawler is a major piece is any zombie synergy so look into entomb to get it into your gy to cast it.
Look into phyrexian reclamation to get pieces back easily.
Look into repository skaab to bounce a spell back to your hand.
A powerful and sometimes forgotten zombie synergy piece is mikeaus the unhallowed paired with plague belcher and a sac outlet is gg……also just paired with walking ballista is gg.
Additionally putrid goblin is another piece that can go well with Mikeaus.
Festering mummy with liliana and phyrexian altar is great creature removal.
One more worth mentioning is archghoul of thraben with mortuary. Another decent support piece for it is gravebane zombie.
A zombie combo that is hugely powerful but not often used is rooftop storm with sedraxis alchemist and necroduality which is a repeatable cyclonic rift……alternatively you can replace/add aetherflux reservoir for gg.
Aetherflux reservoir can also be used with your other recursion combos for gg as well.
    Other non-zombie creatures to consider:
Reality chip for an inexpensive way to access more cards
Realmwright for extra mana fixing aka with urborg you can ensure all your lands can produce the mana you need.
And of course yawgmoth thran physician fits like a glove with zombie synergy.
Removals to consider…..curse of the swine, eaten alive, deadly rollick and baleful mastery…..honorable mention would be extinction event.
Lesser known tutor worth mentioning is insidious dreams which can tutor entire combos if you have the cards to pitch.
Other card draw to consider is kindred discovery which is insanely powerful in a zombie deck…..teferi’s ageless insight is worth an honorable mention.
More of a recent non-zombie add is roaming throne.
I do not recall everything that was listed but consider cutting the following as there are just better cards to use these slots for.
Blasting station generally needs too much work to get going……a decent sacrifice outlet to consider is spawning pit.
Diregraf captain is ok but not great.
Vengeful dead is only really good with something like tombstone stairwell.
Mana rocks such as fellwar stone and arcane signet are meh and liquimetal torque is nearly useless here.
Consider paradise mantle and a cheap way to mana fix consider mana cylix.
A drain/damage piece left out worth considering is bastion of remembrance.
Other artifacts worth considering are bolas’s citadel and sensei’s divining top which will also combo with aetherflux reservoir.
Card draw piece worth considering is skullclamp and of course arguably the best card draw piece in the game, necropotence.
Consider cutting undead augur as there are just better ways to go about it….another strong zombie draw engine worth considering is graveborn muse but it can get out of hand.
I’m not going to touch on lands since they are so subjective but lastly a category completely left out which is protection. consider adding lightning grieves and/or swiftfoot boots for individual protection and a great piece for overall protection is conqueror’s flail. A non-zombie piece that can be flashed in with a similar effect is tidal barracuda.
    Lastly a few honorable mentions:
The following pieces are more relevant to recursion type themes and/or combos but:
    Buried alive
    Reanimate
    Animate dead
    Phyrexian delver
    Gempalm polluter
    Rot hulk
    Gray merchant of asphodel
    Sidisi, undead vizier
    Vile entomber
Another nasty little Mikeaus synergy piece to consider is Glen Elendra Archmage
An old school mana fixing option to consider is bog initiate.
Consider cutting ritual effects like dark ritual…..there are just better uses for the slot honestly.
A type of token engine worth mentioning is death tyrant which will turn anything killed in combat into a zombie token for you and/or another way to flip decayed tokens into non-decayed tokens.
Alternatively sundial of the infinite can skirt the sacrifice of decayed tokens as well as any unwanted ‘end step’ effects placed upon you/remove the opportunity for opponents to cast spells on your end step.
In closing adding any of these suggestions will seriously take that deck to the next level.
    Hope this helps.

No field of the dead? It’s just another great way to make zombies, especially since you run so few basics

I have thought about getting one for the deck. I just recently picked up a special guests version of Field of the Dead and it's gorgeous!

id throw in walking ballista for the soul fact you can pump him with the combo and just toss out damage everywhere, also ashnods altar is a another good card to put in, as well as bontu's monument

    • @mtgghouldude
      @mtgghouldude  Год назад +1

Thanks for the comment! I've noticed that unless you're playing a slow, grindy tempo deck then cards like Bontu's Monument take up a slot you could use for better acceleration or another more synergistic piece.

1:23 I thought that once the dungeon was finished, it wasn't possible to do it again.

Thanks for asking! In the case of the Acerarak combo, when you complete a Dungeon you remove it from the Command Zone and are allowed to place a new Dungeon to Venture through. There are no rules stating that you cannot move through the same Dungeon multiple times. Allowing it to be a combo to drain your opponents. The rules for Dungeons can be found in 309.1-309.7, 701.46a-701.46d, and 704.5t wherever you can look up rules for Magic:the Gathering. I hope this helps a little bit!

I run this deck with no infinite combos, and i still wreck face with it. Its my weakest deck by far, but I'll be damned if it isn't fun to play.

With the Tutors and other card advantage pieces like Study and Remora it's consistently posing a win with protection by T4

I don’t understand the different titles like “high power” isn’t this just a bad cedh deck?
It seems like a deck that beats up on casual decks but won’t compete w actual full powered lists.
What are you doing to make it not cedh? I mean is there a definition I don’t know? Some restrictions in deck building?

    • @mtgghouldude
      @mtgghouldude  8 месяцев назад

Thanks for commenting! A broad answer for this deck is it's a mediocre play at a CEDH deck. It's a little too strong for lower power Casual pods but not a fully optimized CEDH deck.
