This. Being bench sniper also big plus point, with Honchkrow snipe something (those Magikarp example), and Spiritomb dealing chip damage for potential hp breakpoint.
A deck I've been theorizing around involves a core of greninja, palkia, manaphy, and cyrus. The idea behind it is you have greninja to always activate the cyrus, bringing in whichever pokemon you want, so you can distrupt things like dragonite setting up in the back, and then use manaphy+misty to build up a palkia to destroy everything with the 150 atk + the 20 damage from greninja shuriken
@@AsianManWhy1 Move energy from Energy Zone to Darkrai -> Darkrai's Ability Damage goes out -> Use Dawn -> Move that Energy from Darkrai to Active Pokemon -> Attack with Active Pokemon
I think that deck should take out drapion and play more support. Maybe 1 dawn, 1 extra leaf (or X speed) and 2 Giovanni. Giovanni matters a lot in that Mewtwo matchup: 80+20= 100. With Giovanni you can do 110, and that allows you to kill mewtwo with 2 energy and mew with 1 energy,
Add Dawn XD you play sneasel on active spot, and darkray on bench. add one energy on darkray to trigger his ability, then play Dawn to transfert that enery to sneasel xD pretty nasty
I'm only looking for lucario then done... Other fighting type on this pack are too heavy cost... The only pick my interest was rampardos but still undecided..
I think there has to be a Dawn in the Darkray deck. Put the energy on Darkray then use Dawn to either Drapion or Weavile. Essentially saves a turn of energy while still dealing the 20 damage.
The big issue with Moltres and Mew is that Moltres only adds fire energy to Fire types! but i'm also super excited for the new set, keep up the great posts Xatumi!!
I thought the same thing. Then I realized he was saying that you can just attach fire energy onto the Mew since the Moltres is getting energy onto everything else.
I’m imagining a scenario where Moltres rolls 3 heads, 2 go to 1 Infernape, the third goes to the other, and the fire energy goes to the Infernape that got 1. Retreat with the Moltres and an Infernape attacks. Attach an energy to that Infernape next turn, switch to the other Infernape, and attack again. Then on the next turn, the first Infernape is ready to attack again. I think an XSpeed could be good in that deck so that an energy won’t be wasted on Moltres so you can do 4 Infernape attacks in a row, but also it’s not like you have Infernape turn 1, so I’m sure the energy’s fine for this deck anyway. For that reason, I’m guessing the early fire energies just go onto Mew as Moltres ramps the monkeys, since Mew seems to be a just-in-case option. In a battle not for Mew, I think it would be beneficial to ramp the back Moltres with the early fire energies.
@@BuNnyDuDeDaRoO Yeah, I wasn’t trying to imply I thought it was. I was more so saying I initially thought he misspoke and was telling people Moltres could ramp up Mew.

Confusion in tcg means when that opponent tries to attack they flip a coin. If heads the attack goes off normally. If tails, they do 20 damage to themselves. At least that’s how it used to work.
I don’t think mismagius ex gets run with togekiss sadly I think Mew ex is a better option and less bricky and allows for more items and supporters. Also weezing with koga will feel better than drapion, easier to rotate out and does better chip dmg for both weavile and darkrai

Xan consider Dawn for the Darkrai Weavile deck. Dawn is basically needed for infernape, but I think the mew and the capes could be changed. Since there needs to be something moltres is building up to attack while infernape is evolving.
I am actually excited on how players can utilize multi-color decks with these new pokemons especially with dragon decks im thinking the potential use of manaphy on a dragonite deck along with the new tools available
I’d swap out giants cape for a Rocky helmet instead. It can activate weavile Ex on its first attack if your opponent hits you. That or it can force them to not attack in fear of your empowered attack.
