- In this GrandMA3 tutorial i will show you how to build the FLYOUT EFFECT in the GrandMA3 Phaser editor - from scratch.
I will show you how to build it, without using any predefined effects in this GrandMA 3 Phaser tutorial.
This is going to give you a better understanding of how the Flyout effect works - and what happens in the 2 steps that are needed to make the flyout phaser effect.
It´s also going to give you a look into how the Phaser effect editor on the GrandMA3 works.
The GrandMA3 Flyout effect is one of the most powerfull effects you can make on any lighting console.

Thanks for this! Transitioning from MA2 to MA3, and your videos are definitely helping! Is there a way to make one of the steps half the speed (ie the step with the 0 dim value)?
In other words, working to replicate the predefined MA2 forms for flyout
So I have made the flyout effect with the phaser editor. How do i map it to the playbacks section? really would like some help!
When I try to click one of the parameters in the phaser editor it toggles rather than just selecting. i.e. if I click on pan, tilt is deselected and vice versa, and it occurs with dimmer as well. Do you know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it? Thanks! Also, your videos are excellent!

I have tried to recreate your problem, but I can seem to make the OnPC do the same. In my software I can easily select and deselect every parameter without any problem. Can you perhaps be a little more specific about how you got there? 😊
Since the new update, it doesnt work on my setup🤔
This one doesnt work anymore. It doesnt show the At Phase option
Mine stay on in the middle of the movement for a moment... It's like they fly out then back in for just a second and I cant figure it out.
make sure the sync button is on for your steps
How would you save the effect you created
Just store it as a preset in one of the “All” pools. 😀
