    Eddie Guerrero and Other Wrestlers that Died Young - How Would They Look in 2023
    Have you ever wondered how your favorite wrestlers would look if they were still with us?
    Wrestling has lost a number of greats over past years and surprisingly some wrestlers pass away quite young in their 30's and even younger.
    Hi Guys and welcome to historicly, in todays video, with age progression techniques and our animation skills we will go through the famous wrestles that unfortunately have died young and see how they could have looked like if they had lived longer.
    This video was inspired by some of our audience, so always feel free to let us know who would you want to feature next in our videos.
    So, let's get started.
    Featured into the list:
    00:00 - intro
    00:48 - Gino Hernandez
    01:44 - Rick Rude
    02:48 - Owen Hart
    03:45 - Chris Candido
    04:39 - Bam Bam Bigelow
    05:38 - Chris Benoit

    The death of Chris Benoit is the biggest problem in the world of professional wrestling. Sometimes I sit and wonder what might have been if this tragedy hadn't happened, which probably erased him forever from WWE and WCW history.

    • @parker-ii7fg
      @parker-ii7fg 2 года назад +5

      There was an interview with Chris Benoit's former sister in law (I think it was for the 10th anniversary of the tragedy) in which she states that, at the time of his death, Benoit had serious cardiovascular problems due to many years of steroid use which had left his heart three times the normal size which was ready to give way at any moment.
      He also had serious brain damage due to the in ring trauma that he had suffered throughout his career which had left him with the brain capacity of an average 80 year old Alzheimer's patient. Judging on these health issues, doctors have concluded that it is almost certain that Benoit would have been dead within a year regardless, meaning that we would have most likely lost him in around early 2008.
      The only difference would have been that his wife and child would still be alive and, like his great friend Eddie Guerrero, he would have gone down as an all time legend of the WWE with a long term enduring legacy, and likely would have been inducted straight into the Hall of Fame.

    • @Neptune87MMV
      @Neptune87MMV 2 года назад +1

      @@parker-ii7fg I am also a supporter of the fact that Chris could start serious problems due to the use of steroids. Why did he break loose and commit such a terrible act? Because of the steroids? It is unlikely that such monstrous behavior cannot be attributed to “steroid rage”. This is not a drunken jerk fighting with a passerby because he was deprived of a dose. He was a man with a damaged psyche, faced with serious moral problems.
      Maybe it's the pills and alcohol? In the side effects of a lot of concussions? Personally, I think it was a combination of several things that triggered his attack: a lethal cocktail of steroids, painkillers, and caffeine, combined with depression, paranoia, frequent blows to the head, and the fact that he always kept emotions and feelings deep inside himself.

    • @parker-ii7fg
      @parker-ii7fg 2 года назад +1

      @@Neptune87MMV Look at Benoit's eyes throughout 2006/2007. They are completely void of any emotion. No spark whatsoever. It is obvious that he was in a deep depression.

      @@rooffire8876 Something is very off with the official account of the Benoit family tragedy. Supposedly he killed his wife on the late Friday night, he then killed his son the following morning, before committing suicide on the Sunday evening. So he spent almost 48 hours alone in the house with his dead wife and kid. That isn't an act of uncontrollable roid rage. That suggests that something else was at play.
      Then there is the case of the mysterious wikipedia entry on the night of his death. Remember, that same evening, he was scheduled to wrestle CM Punk for the ECW championship at the now defunct Vengeance pay per view event. The entry log of the wikipedia page for the event initially said he was absent 'due to grieving the death of his wife and son'. This was deleted within minutes, and instead the post was edited to read 'absent due to personal issues'. Apparently the post was sent to WWE headquarters, but there was no back up or investigation and thus the murder-suicide account became the accepted version of events.
      In truth, almost 15 years later, we will never know the full story of what really happened on that infamous weekend. It is a mystery and will likely forever remain that way.

    Wow!!! This brought tears to my eyes. If Eddie wouldn't have died and Benoit wouldn't have done what he did, I can see them as being either road agents for AEW or WWE or even having a hand in NXT as well. And in regards to Bam Bam Bigelow, I believe he would've lost some weight, and giving out shoot interviews to Hannibal TV. I know there were plenty of others that didn't make it to this list like Andrew Test Martin, Lance Cade, Brian Crush Adams, etc. But seeing what they would look like, along with their mannerisms, really made me feel like I was looking at them like they were still among us in 2022. To this day I cannot wrap my head around it all. I think the Benoit tragedy was kinda like for wrestling fans, the equivalent of the JFK assassination or 9/11 in that you remember where you were and what you were doing when you heard the news, first of the deaths, and then of the circumstances.

      @@BrianLG100 Indeed. Quite a few people stopped watching and following wrestling after this including people I knew. I didnt quite go that far for several years, but it is the turning point where my interest began declining. Like I said I remember where I was when the news broke, I was working that night at the local supermarket, and on my last break before going home I called my wife, who'd become a converted wrestling fan thanks to me (she's gone now too, she passed in 2010), and she said Raw was on but Vince was in the ring, no crowd, the Benoit family had been found dead, all of them. I thought maybe a tragic accident like carbon monoxide poisoning as my first guess. I headed home an hour later and by then the news was trickling out of exactly what had happened. I heard Regal and he sounded like he suspected something for sure, turns out he was right. Avis (my wife) and I kept watching the show but were just totally dumbfounded.
