I went to the show in St. Louis just a few days before this, their first show. He sounded great, he was fresh, but I can tell that now that they are getting into the midst of the tour his voice is taking a toll. I hope that his voice can recover and the rest of the tour can continue to go well!
He is still using full head voice.. big heart to sing even when struggling.. I’ve heard Joe Elliot, axl, Vince Neil, Sebastian Bach used falsetto when struggling.. not full voice to reach a high note.. anyways that’s what I noticed for what it’s worth to those who didn’t see the difficult task and effort Arnel have done here.. And by the way, a day or two after this at Atlanta Georgia Arnel sounds better again.. almost at the same time when Sammy Hagar is struggling too to hit the high notes in Florida concert.. see the pattern? These people are humans.. the efforts that had been done is not easy with iconic music in the course of rock history!

Arnel needs to rest his vocals. He is using them to much. Neil you are going to ruin his vocals cords. Stop worrying about turning so much!!!. You can break it up when turning. Listen to him sing!!!
Arnel was doing great last year when I saw him with Journey in Hartford, CT. However, this performance is really bad. He can’t hit the higher notes. Maybe he is sick with allergies or something. They should lower the key by half a step or maybe a whole step, and use autotune to help.
