Finally someone properly reviewed the rear seat space and called out the fact that the car doesn’t offer better interior, and the odd engine performance . It’s a ridiculous waste to have those two third row seats, literally carrying useless weight around after adding a big bill to pay for them.
Realistic and practical video then all other youtubers who cannot stop glorifying the alcazar must go through the video and you will understand the difference from other youtubers
Xuv700 - makes sense only in diesel. Its average is just 5-6 kmpl after 1 year of driving. Confirmed this from 3 XUV 700 AX7 L petrol owners. That is way too low. You need to have a second car in your garrage if you are going for xuv700 petrol otherwise be ready to drive a fuel guzzler. Alcazar pre-facelift model clocks 9-10 in city and 15-17 on highways. Yes, its less powerful than xuv700, why would you even compare a 1.5 with 2 and 2.2l engine??? If you are looking for a spacious 5 seater which has a 500+ litre bootspace then book a Alcazar 7 seater, as its a known fact that last row is only made for kids not for adults.
Best buy mahindra xev9e, features like 50 pakh car, big, spacious, safety, what else needed. Ramge also not less than 450 km in real life condition. 18 speaker where as in alcazar its only 8 speaker. Xev 9e has auto parking too. Cabin camera, office work facility like teams video calls etc. just wow. And price also like to like top model of safari.
A comparison with the XUV700 and Carens may not be entirely valid. As of today, the Carens lacks features such as ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, and 18-inch wheels. On the other hand, the XUV700 also misses some key features like paddle shifters, auto-dimming mirrors, adjustable middle-row seats, and has negligible boot space. Additionally, the XUV700 7-seater variant (7X) is approximately ₹2 lakhs more expensive. The most significant dealbreaker, however, could be the before and after-sales service experience with Mahindra.
Xuv700 petrol is not mileage friendly. Buy Xuv 700 only in disel. Alcazar is good sensible car who dont wants to show off.... Alcazar in petrol is better package than xuv 700, as it is easier to drive in cities and gives bettwr mileage than XUV700 Petrol
An excellent and comprehensive review... The takeaway at the end and small comparison with Carens and XUV700 was spot on...
A comprehensive review, indeed!
Your last line sums up the worth of Alcazar! A very intriguing review, sir.
