As a 'newbie' to this sport I bought a Gamo Phox PCP package about six months ago and I don't regret buying this package but at 70yo I found the hand pump to be physically exhausting. At the moment I attend a local indoor range for an hour once a week and fire about 150 pellets each visit (75 pellets per charge) and find that if I fill my Gamo Phox up before I go then I can make use of the free top up at the range. I began considering an air cylinder but found that they were quite expensive and needed to be charged at a dive centre, so I kicked this idea into touch and started looking for a small compressor. I have owned one of these compressors for about a month now and I find it perfectly suits my needs. I turn it on start the fan, then the compressor and it fills my Gamo Phox in less than three minutes, after which it stops the compressor and then continues to run the fan until the temperature returns to room temperature and then stops the fan. Thank you for this video, I am a very happy bunny. I really enjoy your channel and the 'lead therapy' tips that you provide.
fantastic bit of kit only addition i would make would be another filter system if some description i have a molecular sieve has some desiccant filters in it . belt and brasses make sure no moisture gets in that gun 👍
Just seen your 1st ever video and you were using the Nomad compressor, did that one pack up? How are you getting on with the Wulf compressor as I am thinking of getting one
Can you confirm the correct way to connect the hose and filter? Your video shows the filter end connected to the compressor first, but the manual shows the opposite way. Does it even matter?
I bought one of these after watching your video. Mine is very noisy was your the same in your video yours is very quiet. I'm wondering if mine has a fault
Had a nomad for years essentially the same workings as the this one. I don’t have one at the min as I’m near a filling shop and I like the chat when I go.
@@airabilityuk thanks for the reply, and yes they are all largely very generic, all made in China then rebadged with various logos and affiliation’s. I myself own an airforce 1, which in turn is like a rebadged Veevor, but minus the external inverter. 👍

Just keep living that airgun dream:-). Thanks for the kind words.
@@airabilityuk : I followed your video advising how to wash and lubricate pellets and I have definitely found an improvement in accuracy.
just got hold of a lightly used one for £150 , noisey but works fine
Just the sort of review and description that I was looking for. Thank you.
Thank you for this useful video, just bought one, so I found it informative.
Congratulations on your recent success pal

HI would you use a bigger water/oil filter or the one that comes with the unit good enough thanks
I just use what they come with but I’m not a professional. I’d consult some airgun forums etc.
@@airabilityuk ok thanks for getting back
What is inside?😉😊🤔

Go with the manual.
WOuld you happen to know the current requirements from 12v dc??
No sorry.

All mini compressors are very noisy.
@@airabilityuk OK thanks for the quick reply.
So what compressor did you buy?

Does this have a moisture trap as well as a dust/oil trap?
Yes.
Great video. could this be used to top up small hpa/paintball bottles?
Up to 500cc I’d my understanding.
@@airabilityuk it is a 0.8l but only looking for something to top them up before empty
