There's an awesome omikase place in a Vancouver suburb, in a strip mall just like this that I go to regularly, they do not take reservations as they are fully booked for 2 years! I always get on the cancellation list, a full 5 course plus 9 nigiri sushi course is only $89. Awesome little place run by a Japanese couple, no other staff!
