Ok so like when i first started doing 3D i was so lost, but in time, with patience and using your videos as reference ive been getting better. Thank you so much for these videos, your legit someone i consider my teacher
It's good to see you finally. Your channel is very informative. I have been subscribed for so long now. You deserve so much more. I hope you get to 100k soon. Thanks for such amazing content!
Great video Bella. You make teaching look simple. Wish my mathematics teacher was as talented as you. I would have been a banker 🤣 Thank God, I am now an up coming 3d artist.
Great tutorial, thank you. If you used this method ie for a beard on a face that had blendshapes or any animation on it, would the hair stick to the skin and follow along with the animation.....I've been having some problems with this. Also if you are covering an animal with hair could you just apply the Xgen hair to the whole mesh ??.
I don't understand why there's 2 xgen editors as if xgen wasn't complicated enough already. I've done tutorials in the past using the standard xgen editor now when I jump on youtube I find everyone's using the interactive groom editor but which one should I use?
That's a good question. If you want to place specific guides to get a particular hairstyle (or eyelashes/eyebrows), you would use xgen editor. It would very very challenging to use the xgen interactive splines to get precise details. Interactive spline is great for fast hair and for grooming, like fur. I hope that helps!
@@AcademicPhoenixPlus Ok so maybe use standard xgen editor for long hair/stylized hair and interactive one for short hair? It's annoying because I want to create curled hair but the curl effect is missing on the clump modifier on standard editor but is there on the interactive one forcing me to use both.
1 more question ...In film Industries use which type of create hair.... Interactive gromming, xgen, ncloth.... Specially in cfx department using which type? U knowledge about framestore company cfx department using which type of create hair...
Good question Ramesh! You should do something similar. Make a cutout of the chin/beard, and use very fine small hair. I'll try to make a tutorial about it, if you like. 💖
Finally, I can now put a face to the amazing teacher and voice!
Thanks Emmanuel! That's very kind :)

Can you please show how to make a braid in Xgen and also show how to attach a hair band to it?
Thanks. What is the difference between '''XGEN interractif groom'' and ''XGEN'' method ??? When to use one to the detriment of the other? ????
