I was pleasantly surprised by how huge the first two maps in this expansion are! Loving Janthir Wilds so far and I’m amazed that I’ve played multiple hours over three days, and I haven’t completed the story yet.
The new maps will not be released for another 6 and 9 months, So they have plenty of times to make changes. I guess they realised in their pre-planning that the environment or the meta event would flow better if the map were split-up into separate maps.
