In Canada the V2 technique is called "one skate" while the V2 alternate is called "two skate". Because things always need to be made as confusing as possible.
@@Becomenorwegian loved all your videos, you seem to interact really easily with the people you meet and the positivity is communicative ^^ I will of course like to see your progression and the final race 💪
🫶 we are happy you enjoy our videos and that we can bring you a smile! And yes indeed, we had laughing cramps throughout the whole shoot with him. Ragnar just the same!
That looked dangerous! Thank goodness for the harness, I've seen a video of Andy Musgrave getting flung into a wall by a rollerski treadmill when he wasn't wearing one. I once thought that I wanted a rollerski treadmill, but really I just want the mirror - instant feedback. First time in Sjusjoen last weekend by the way, loved it. Pretty easy to get there from the UK too.
@Becomenorwegian Really good. We were staying in Lillehammer and did two days at Sjusjøen and one at the Birkebeineren stadium. One thing we learned for the second day was that the bus back from Sjusjøen to Lillehammer doesn't run between 12 and 3 so if you finish skiing at 1 then you have a long wait! It was fine, we went for waffles at the campsite cafe. It would be nice to have somewhere to shelter though, there was a bit of a blizzard for 20 minutes whilst we were at the arena and there wasn't really anywhere to hide whilst it passed. Apart from that it was great. There are so many tracks, well marked and well groomed, and the Skisporet app worked well. We think that next year we might try to go to the Oslo world cup biathlon (again) and Holmenkollen 50k (for the first time) and ski at Sjusjøen in the week in between, probably staying in a cabin.
Very exciting- well done Angus x
This was so much fun to watch!!

Wow good way to learn and a damn good workout. How often do you train on this or is this the pretty much the first time? Cheers from Canada
It’s a very good work out! This was our second time ever, so not much’ but extremely great for technical training! Cheers Bill🇨🇦
