I love garlic chives! The Chinese grocery store I get my hard-to-find Asian ingredients at sells these in big bags, and after using some for kimchi, I always have plenty left over for other dishes. Thanks for the inspiration, Chef Hiro-san! Hope you had a happy holiday season

That would be OUTSTANDING for a ramen base using the shells, lemon, garlic, and clear sake to make up a broth base. I am blanking on the name of the very thin white mushrooms which grow in clump but those would be good in the bowl along with and a couple fish roll slices (the red and white swirl - also blanking). For my Italian heritage that would be great in long pasta with a butter and lemon sauce with a tart white wine like a young Pinot Gris grown on the shady side of the hill, then tossed in the pan with a handful of Parmigiano-Regiano to give a little creamy mouth feel. I did something similar with scallops, farfalle (bow tie pasta), and fresh sage leaves that was wonderful (a frequent request from the wife so it must have worked)

I now know what chive flowers are I see them all the time at the Asian market in Orlando and will get them tomorrow to do this dish but ill use live shrimp they are only $9.95 lb here and taste so great well worth the extra effort of cleaning them
How do you clean a cutting board or a large surface like that? I want to get a larger cutting board but it looks impossible to clean in the sink. How would I sanitize after cutting chicken or some other meat?
chives like that are not around in WV stores _--.....just a small package ones walmart carries, --_ but omg looks good no matter what, i'd get the small ones our stores here carry but i'd have to add extra stuff to it like bok choy, etc ehhhh
