It’s nearly 2022, and I am still enjoying this group! Kris’s smile is utterly disarming.😌😌That they played together at all was an act of pure luck and genius, since they each had successful solo careers. Bravo for them! Imagine, songs with lyrics that are clear and understandable, make sense, and have addictive music as well! These may have been the last of the genre.

I've lived a little... and every day I get, is a blessing. My advice to you, is to get up every morning, and kick life in it's ass... and LIVE your life. Spend time with someone you love, or at least like. Kick everyone you DON'T like in your life, to the figurative curb. Life is too short to be aggravated by inconsiderate, insensitive, self-centered, egotistical and egocentric people, or people who are overly critical and judgmental. It's better to be alone, than steamrollered by someone else's agenda. This is YOUR life. This is YOUR time. Your happiness is YOUR decision. Live your life YOUR way, while you can. I wish you every happiness, and I hope that the life you have left, brings you joy, peace, and serenity. In this life, those are the best things that you can hope for. Be kind, but be YOURSELF... Your time of sacrificing for others needs, wants, wishes, whimsies is well and truly past. For whatever it's worth, I hope like hell that this round of Chemo does the job for you. I KNOW. It's MISERABLE. It makes you sick, and then some... I know that it exhausts you.
You have to will yourself through it. Life IS worth living, don't let go. Look ahead... and let the past be the past. If you have any anger about events in your past life? You'd better resolve that crap, and leave it behind you. In the end, your own anger (if you have any, that is) is something that can kill you more quickly than anything else. Let it go. It's the last thing you want to carry with you, into the next life. Be well, Phyllis Weinrich... and walk forward with your chin up. Approach your Chemo, with the thought that it will help your condition...or put it into remission. Focus on what you'll do if your cancer DOES go into remission, but also make a plan "B" just in case it doesn't. I wish you the best. I hate cancer with every fiber of my being. It's taken most of the people from me, that I cherish, and love. #whentheworstthingshappentothebestpeople
I was shocked when I read the news about Kris's death. Country music lost a legendary voice as it did with Waylon and Johnny. God,please, keep Willie for more years. R.I.P.
