Woke this morning to see that Kris had passed on. He was a brilliant songwriter who will be sorely missed. Shared a birthday with my mum who really likes him as well. No ego here - just 4 amazing performers who enjoy playing each others songs and have total respect for one another.
At 94, I will forever, what time I have left, will cherish this talent in spite of being a classical performer growing up. My request to have this Highwaymen playing on my deathbed is to be honored in my will.

yweah you can see him in HIghwayman too making the * louder * signal to the sound mixer, my guess is he thinks Kriss's vocals are too quiet, you gotta remember these are remixed live recordings not how it was heard during the concert.

I was shocked when I read the news about Kris's death. Country music lost a legendary voice as it did with Waylon and Johnny. God,please, keep Willie for more years. R.I.P.
