- President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump on Wednesday agreed to hold two campaign debates in June and September - the first on June 27 hosted by CNN - setting the stage for the first presidential face-off in just weeks. According #CNN, the #debate will be held in the network’s #Atlanta studios with no audience present, with moderators for the debate and additional details coming at a later time.
#MorningJoe’s #JoeScarborough reacts to #Biden’s challenge and #Trump’s response as the two expect to face off: “If you don’t have a pep rally. The border was secure: No it wasn't.
No inflation worth mentioning: 'worth mentioning' is really carrying that statement.
Our cities weren't over run with illegal aliens: no more than they were before or since.
We were energy independent: we are pumping more fossil fuels now than under Donald.
Food, fuel, and housing was far less expensive: true, kind of, but none of those are under control of the President. Though Donald's policies & trade negotiations did wreck havoc for many industries. Including agriculture and baby food, Donald even attempted to get Saudi Arabia to increase crude prices because he thought it was too cheep. But as we are always reminded under conservative administrations, these areas are not under the control of the President.
'What has gotten better under the current administration': America's relationship with our allies. COVID-19 and it's vaccines (yes it is still around thanks to Donald's horrible mishandling, but Biden did facilitate the dispersement of not only the vaccines & boosters, but also tests.). Massive infrastructure projects creating jobs across the country. The economy and the stock market. Unemployment is down. Minority rights are safer. Student debt is down. There are a lot of things that are better, that Biden's policies have affected and/or facilitated.
Look up Biden's accomplishments. Don't just take the word of whomever told you all those lies that took up the majority of your post.
He thinks he's going to make Biden look bad by talking over him and ranting and raving. There needs to be a strong moderator to stop him.
