I really don't see what's so bad about this speech, it was very positive: he praised past presidents (including Obama), he declared power to us overall, he said the middle class has suffered (which is true), turning focus on US and not other nations in general, he talked about us coming together...it was very hopeful...mind you, about half the country didn't want other presidents in the office (both R and D), and those people didn't get their panties in a bunch...get over it people! give trump a chance! For example, in science there's this methodology: Methodological naturalism.
It assumes (temporarily) there are only natural forces at work in the universe.
No Jesus. No Shiva. No Buddha. No anchient Chinese ancesors. No ghosts or goblins or bugaboos or anything else.
Only natural forces.
Critics of science usually have this flavor of naturalism stick in their craws and make them pout. "Why not MY god?" they whine and complain.
Because that's a different subject. Methodological naturalism is a hat a Christian and a Hindu can wear at the same time and come together to work with each other to make the WORLD a better place.
