    I had the good fortune to see Bill a couple times in the last 4 months or so. As a guitar player, I come away thinking there ain't nothing he can't do. What's the best though is speaking to him after a show. Super nice guy. Thanks BIll.

    I first heard this song in the 4th grade during Show And Tell when the menacingly bigger kid with long hair brought his 45 of it and stoically played it for the class. I was amazed and it's one of the few things I remember distinctly from the early 70's and at the end of the song he sarcastically asked if there were any questions ....The class was stunned but I said can you play it again and without hesitation or approval from the teacher, he did. I learned to play guitar, joined or started many bands and met lots of girls (married the best one of em) and so that seemingly dangerous kid set the whole thing up when he dropped that needle. Thanks dude and to Bill and all the other Airmen, Amen.

      I agree and on some days I have. Many versions out there. Especially when he throw s the Edmund Fitzgerald in there.

    This man is surely the king of the Telecaster! He did a gig for me YEARS ago, and when I met him New Orleans two years ago, he not only remembered the gig but also remembered my name.... What a guy!!!!

      I wouldn't go as far as saying King of the Tele. Love his playing but Roy Buchanan is at the top of my list. Don Rich, James Burton and Danny Gatton are all amazing. But it's just an opinion.

    the grapevine is a very long and steep road up to the pass and sharp drop down regardless of what side you take north to sout and it will bake your car , blow it up or fry your brakes. ask any semi driver who knows where the up ramps with gravel are on the sides of the down side north bound sides.and burn up gas.. really dangerours then there is the snow and rain and fog that can hit it. this for new cars too.

    Why squeeze the drummer out of frame?!!!

    • @PaulGoodeK
      @PaulGoodeK  2 года назад

      I wanted to get in closer to Bill, plus I didn’t like the look with the drummer squeezed into the lower left corner-it was claustrophobic.

  • @bobconnor1210

    You don’t just pick drummers like that up off the street. What? You did a couple of times? Good save.
