22 ga.(0.65mm) floral wire would work for batgirls grappling hook. It's green but you could paint it. Otherwise cool figures. I found Batman Mikey at a comic book store and was so stoked.
I’m so glad I got this full set. Some figures are stronger than others but as a full set they are amazing. Tons of accessories and great representation of the movie.

The Leo/Batman set is probably the best set of the series, Leo is a great figure and Batman is insane… I’m not normally a fan of soft goods but Batman’s cape is awesome. Same thing with the “con exclusive” Mikey that was also sold at GameStop and ThinkGeek stores.
Oh yeah, these sets were great! Limited posing admittedly, but visually I was sold on these immediately. I REALLY wish they'd given us the villain mutants though. The line feels so incomplete without them. Still, some really cool Turtles. The Mikey as Batman exclusive is still one of my favorites in the TMNT collection!
Be careful with Leo's swords, they are very easy to break on the handles when pressed against the hands when trying to put them in place, so slide them from top to bottom instead.

It seems grapnels are smaller hooks used for underwater purposes. I’m guessing someone at DC saw the word and went “Cool” and that’s why Batman has grapneling gun.

So while I did want them all in the end I picked up three, two from GameStop and the Michelangelo as Batman from a local comic book store. The sculpt was so dead on and the accessories were perfect. They went to clearance then disappeared in store and were depleted over a short period of time on their website. I like the Steve from Blues Clues thing you got going on during this review 😉 a great line unfortunately we will never get the second wave with the mutated DC villains and other Tmnt characters.😢 Fun video you kept it real✌️
I was able to get all these figures about 50% off back around the beginning of Cvid. I love them and think they look fantastic! I even have Bat-Mikey. The movie is awesome as well. I do not think that you made a mistake buying these. I hope that you enjoy them.
I got Leo&Batman, Batgirl & Donnie; the sets are great (minus my Leo having a hand peg that doesn't work 100%) but yeah, I missed out on the other 2 "hero sets". Good luck on the Raph/Damian set especially, it's $100+ from where I've looked.
I only saw Raph vs Robin at GS once upon a time. Neat-looking figures but ouch at spending $200 if you just want the Turtles, which is where I was at the time. Neat to see you covering them. Have a great week! PS: Buy some stretchy jewelry cord if you want a cable that looks nice wrapped around the grapnel gun, or black floral wire if you want it to keep a shape like it's been shot.

Oh I knew they were a thing. Saw the animated movie, and the minute these figures came out, I IMMEDIATELY bought not only all four of the turtles, but I bought shredder as well. And despite Leonardo’s swords being fragile, The figures are still an awesome edition to my collection. I don’t think I will be parting with them anytime soon EVER. Lol
@@NostalgiaUnboxed I like them all, but If I’d have to pick, it would be Leonardo, despite one tiny problem. When you put his swords in his hands, his hands are a big tough, so when you put his swords in, you’d have to carefully wedge the handle into his hands. The sword handles are bit delicate. And whenever you wanna take them out of the hands, you’d have to carefully wedge it out by the thumb of the figure.
I got all of those sets on clearance back then ($17 each, I think). They were inundated with them and they sat forever. Totally agree!! These are a great set!! This Batgirl fits in awesome with the Batman animated line. Only other one I have from this line is Leonardo because he was a singlette for like $10 complete in a plastic bag. My problem is the joints seem very very loose! Mikey as batman is too frickin cute tho!!!!

I was able to buy just the shredder from ebay for a fair price. The only tmnt figures i was able to collect were the tmnt power rangers figures and it took me a year to collect them all. I got most of them at a discounted price. They are a lot of fun along with shredder.
There overall pretty good figures probably not worth over retail hence why they went on crazy clearance ill probably get them when I find one for a reasonable price, I have a question when do you think neca will release those ultimate cartoon turtles by the way love the new stay focused mad hatter shirt with the vent behind it very funny.

I only bought the Shredder and Ra's Al Ghul 2 pack when they first came out. The 2 problems I had with the actual movie were Damian Wayne. And how the Turtles were designed as I find them to be ugly
imo the plastics on certain items such as donatellos bow staff is super cheap and brittle (mine broke after tryjng to pose him) but otherwise i genuinely enjoy these figures and have them posed in front of my batman tmnt comic number 1 signed by eastman

I had them all preordered but cash was low so I cancelled them all. I love that film. I’m sure I’ll be booed but it’s better than Mutant mayhem. I would have liked to have them all but that is not to be. The yellow injection prices was a serum to reverse the super mutagen that was in the movie.

I have the whole set (got them all when they came out). They're great figures as far as DC collectibles is concerned. This was before it seemed like everyone and their brother was making TMNT figures, so seeing someone other than NECA or Playmates do it was unique then.

It's weird because I see different versions of it with both names. Like, grapnel isn't exclusive for what Batman calls it.

I had them all preordered but cash was low so I cancelled them all. I love that film. I’m sure I’ll be booed but it’s better than Mutant mayhem. I would have liked to have them all but that is not to be. The yellow injection prices was a serum to reverse the super mutagen that was in the movie.

I have the whole set (got them all when they came out). They're great figures as far as DC collectibles is concerned. This was before it seemed like everyone and their brother was making TMNT figures, so seeing someone other than NECA or Playmates do it was unique then.

The sets aren’t worthy. Articulation is awful. The weapons don’t fit the characters well. Not worth the second market value at all.
