Facts. Both Batman and Shredder realizing throughout the fight that their opponent is not some easy street thug, they both realized, this dudes the real deal. Really cool how Shredder calls Bats “warrior” throughout the fight.
This wasn't Troy Baker's first time voicing Batman or Joker, but it's the first time he did both in the same project. He voiced Batman in Lego Batman 2, 3, Lego Dimensions and the Lego DC Comics films. And the Telltale game. He first voiced Joker in Arkham Origins, returned to voice Arkham Joker in the Assault on Arkham movie, and later voiced him in the Batman Unlimited series.
Troy Baker is crazy talented. I've heard him in so many roles, and I never know it's him. He's got such incredible range that you can put him in practically any role and he'll be amazing.
Tbh, this might be my favorite design of the Turtles in animation. I’m always 100% in favor of giving them unique body types and colors, that fit their personalities and skill sets, ie. Leo having the standard “hero” body, Raph the hothead having more muscle & built like a linebacker, Donnie being skinnier and lankier since he prefers to use his gadgets, and Mikey the youngest being shorter and having rounder features. Definitely not “offensive”, as Jaby puts it. That’s just me tho. Rule of thumb in animation is that you want ur characters to be easily identifiable in silhouette. Take out the weapons, and the Turtles would look the same if they stuck to the designs we grew up on. I appreciate newer takes doing this. As for Batman, it's not very often we get the Neal Adams-era type color and design scheme put to action, so I appreciated it. Making Batman look more colorful was a nice compliment to the colors of the Turtles.
Probably cause the design is a mix of the 1986, 2003, and 2012 turtles. They got the hard black lines and color schemes of the 2003 turtles, the different builds and physiques similar to their 1990 movie and 2012 cartoon versions, and the initials on the belt (with their own unique designs) like the 1986 turtles.
Most crossovers spend half the time telling you how characters from different IPs/movies/shows came together. But the best part of any crossover isn't the setup, it's how the characters interact with each other but also how they interact with the lore, the setting, the story elements of a different IP. Here, there is almost no setup, and almost all of it is just these interactions. "What if Batman's rogue gallery was injected with the ooze?" "What if Bane try to break a turtle's back?" "What if a turtle rode the Batmobile?"
This is honestly my favorite Batman movie and my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie 😁 It's so perfect. Troy Baker previously played Batman in The Telltale Series, Batman Unlimited movies, and the LEGO Batman videogames. He played The Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Assault on Arkham. He's the first person to ever play Batman and Joker in the same movie.
I really can’t believe we got a movie which we saw Troy Baker (Joel’s voice actor) as both Batman and Joker. I really loved his performance in Arkham Origins as Joker and Batman in the Tale Tale series
The guy that’s playing the joker is Troy baker , he also voiced joker in Batman Arkham Origins and assault on Arkham and the long Halloween, he’s great, he’s pretty much the next joker!
THANKS for this!!! This movie was my first taste of TMNT and I loved this as a film! It is one of the most fun Batman movies ever!!! And it has Damien and Batgirl!!! YAY!!!!
8:37 let’s be real Alfred cleans all of Batman’s bat-suits every time he takes them off. To be fair a lot of people don’t get why Harley Quinn deserves to be called doctor, but she technically really is one she is a psychiatrist she can prescribed medication and has medical training, just because she went crazy and became a villain doesn’t mean her doctorate and years of schooling goes away, she is a doctor. Similar to why I think mr freeze should be called doctor freeze his schooling in cryogenics didn’t vanish he is still a doctor his diploma and other paper work just has his legal name doctor Victor Fries on it instead of his alias of freeze. Batman has been disrespecting his villains not giving them their proper titles.
YES! Just what I needed today. This is one of the few movies I own on Blue Ray because I know I'll watch it over and over. Also, Batman vs Shredder was SO good. You see them both get surprised the other is that good. Never thought about it, but a great match for Batman
My favorite part of this movie isn't even in this review.... It's in the asylum when they're all jumping and running up a stairwell or something and through a door with the music playing all intensely. And then when Mikey comes up and trips, and then the music just stops! lmao So fricken hilarious! 🤣
11:40 Jaby!! That's Damian Wayne (robin) son of Bruce Wayne & Talia Al Ghul.. grandson of Ra's al Ghul.. he's trained by all of them & literally is a weapon.. he's batman w NO "no kill" policy, so if he takes down TMNT, don't be surprised ✨
lmao i was gonna comment the same thing, maybe you could make an argument that a young dick grayson or jason todd would lose to the turtles, but damian is out for blood
The dinosaur was robotic and the penny was originally part of a banks entrance iirc. Some trophies were kept from victories. If you need to see why they’re there, see season one of the 90s animated Batman series.
Hi, I'm new here! I was so excited to see you guys react to this. It's always a joy to see other people loving something they would otherwise never try to watch because they wouldn't normally be interested in it. Since you guys enjoyed this so much, you guys have to see Batman vs Dracula. I loved this but you missed the ending where they show what happened to Shredder.
One issue I have with this film is Ra's al Ghul not being pronounced correctly yet again. The name Ra's al Ghul is Arabic for "the Demon's Head". The Arabic pronunciation for the first syllable is "Rah-us". The character's creator however chose to use the Hebrew pronunciation "Raysh" which is the one that was used in Batman The Animated Series which was the character's first ever and easily best adaptation.
I remember some character once explaining that only the members of the League of Shadows call their boss "Rahs", pronouncing it correctly but everyone else calls him "Raysh"...
@@sorinalexandroiu It's not League of Shadows, it's League of Assassins. It was changed for the Nolan movies but was later included in the comics as an organization led by Lady Shiva.
David Hayter also played a super hero. He took over the role of The Guyver in the sequel film The Guyver: Dark Hero. It's...a hell of a lot more violent than the first movie.
I read the comic and it is phenomenal. And yes, Splinter accompanies the turtles and helps fight. Splinter not in the movie is probably my one and only major detractor. Aside from that I like it. In the first encounter in the comic, Splinter compliments Batman for fighting his sons using the traditional style. And then says one of my favorite lines I've ever read in a comic,(paraphrasing a little) "Which is more puzzling? An animal who pretends to be a man? Or a man who pretends to be an animal?"
A slight side track but still about Batman: can you plase create a tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy? He passed away last year, and was the sole reason I got into acting. On MsMojo there was a video about the best voice acting in movies and I think he should've been included for his role in Batman the Mask of Phantasm (the scene at the cementary). I have a VA background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. I know I already posted this but I fell like he's very underrated as Batman and non existent in the conversation. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)
Love this movie 🔥! Literally the best adaptation of two iconic IPs and make it flow so seamlessly along with all the deep cut Easter eggs! Then it ends with a pizza party in the batcave. Chief kiss.
It's fan service, but some great fan service for any kid who grew up in the late 80's and early 90's who thought Batman and Ninja Turtles were EVERYTHING. This is pretty much what we imagined when we'd put all of our Playmates Ninja Turtles and Kenner Batman action figures together and wondered to ourselves why a real crossover couldn't happen. But after so many years, here we are.
Pizza is actually an excellent source of food for Batman someone is highly active is he is he is would benefit greatly from a pizza made with fathead ketogenic pizza dough
This was one awesome crossover! I especially liked the part when Raph actually talked some sense into Batman. If Splinter was there I know he would've done the same thing.
There’s a couple videos you can look up. You can watch Batman declare that he doesn’t eat nachos. There was a large series of videos of Batman eating a hotdog and parodies if that.
This movie is awesome! Love this crossover between Batman and the Ninja Turtles! Hopefully one day the Ninja Turtles crossover with Daredevil since their origin story is quite similar! Regardless, hope you guys like it! 🙏🏽💪
Guys, you missed the Pink Floyd reference. 'hey creature, leave that kid alone' vs. 'hey teacher, leave those kids alone' from The Wall. Also said in the same cadence.

So fun fact they brought Tom Kenny back to voice the penguin he became a fan favorite iteration of the character after first voicing him in the 2004 series The Batman and of course tom Kenny is SpongeBob so it definitely wasn’t hard for Paramount/Nickelodeon and WB/DC to get him back 😂
When one of you said he wished the Turtles looked more like how you remember them I'm assuming you mean the 80 ones those aren't how the Turtles normally look normally it's something closer to the 2003 or current comics not as big eyed and goofer. I wish I understood the allergy in using something the is close to the classical design of the Turtles. Doesn't have to be exactly the same. I do believe each turtle should have their own personal design, but those designs should at least be something close to the original design at least. But it's like everyone is so terrified of using the classical design that they make them look like completely different characters. Aside from that, this has been one of my favorite modern Turtle stories, and one of my favorite crossovers of all time.

It’s a mechanical T-Rex. When Batman fought in Murray Hart's theme park known as "Dinosaur Island". He now keeps it as a trophy.
Thank you, always wondered that
It really bugs me that almost no one who’s reacted to this movie realizes that Harley is a fucking Hyena.
Harley Quinn Is the Hyena and he confused her for a Golden Retriever then said he wanted the Joker to be a Hyena instead of a Cobra!?🐍

Maybe you watched it on patreon, but there was a shredder bump at the end of the credits, I'm sure you saw it though haha
