A bit of a minor correction. From what I understand, autosupply will still waste the one left over meal on standby at the end of the night. Basically you are choosing rather to waste only 1 meal instead of chancing losing any leftover meals. Generally I always use auto supply but if I need a specific number to sell. For example if I want to sell only 4 of a certain fish plate because I am saving the rest to be used in another meal with other ingredients. Great video. Cheers
Generally I haven’t had that happen. I think because by the end of the night most stuff sold out of ingredients- but this is a good point. It can happen. Mainly, I know it saves a lot more ingredients than what I was wasting before haha which I love
Auto supply can actually cause you to throw away more food depending on what else is on your menu, let me explain. Auto supply lets people order the same dish indefinitely (if you have the ingredients) because you’d never run out, whereas if you don’t use auto supply and once that dish is out of stock, the customers are forced to order other things on the menu. If you set everything to auto supply, then it might be better, however this still might not work well with dishes that have multiple portions. For example, if a dish has 10 portions, you can’t really auto supply every portion of it since all 10 portions come together when you make that single dish. So if I have a dish with 10 portions, and I want to use up all of those, I wouldn’t auto supply anything and set custom amounts so the 10 portion dish has a chance to be eaten. I hope that makes some sense.
I used to use it but I actually find if you look at your rank, work out how many customers you’re getting and just put up that many dishes, you won’t waste as much. I’m plat now so I get 36 (in my experience it’s ALWAYS 35 never 36) so if you put up 36 dishes then at the end of the night you’ll have like a max of one dish left over. If you have like 6 dishes all auto supply you’re now guaranteed to lose 6 dishes at the end of the night
Omg this is a life saver. I was trying to guess how many dishes i would need to min/max everything every night. This makes it sooo much easier lol. Thank you so much for this!

tx for making guide about dave the dive , and a sub for that reason.. So far i am loving it, have been playing for 1-2 hours and will be playing some more. your guide really help full
Apparently your rank helps determine how many customers you get. I just started and noticed im getting about 8 a night so thats how much sushi i put up. The numbers are something close to 8/15/22/29/36/43 for the different ranks but the faster you cook and serve you can get more than that and its maybe a little random so you could get one or two less
You can edit the menu (game will be paused) even after opening the bar. I put on my earners early on, only after they're gone I'd set the remained to auto-supply, if at all: If you run out of dishes, customers will order cocktails and get the standard plate still. One sales less could be better than losing expensive ingredients.
Im here cause I only use it cause it sounds cool :D lets learn thanks for the vid really useful now I understand how to use it properly didn't know about the ingredients storage thanks :D
Wasted like 60 tuna pieces on the party night without knowing this lmao, thank for the explain. Now I only sell 1~2 fixed sushi set and auto supply tuna, currently 8k~10k/night, tuna all the way lolol
I hilariously never used this feature, one cause I never knew about it and the second reason is that I'm the kind of guy that just nonstop grinds to the point where I have too much fish, so at the start I just kinda dumped all the fish on what I wanted to sell expecting I'd get alot for it. However later on I realized that my decision on this was stupid so I ended up making things order less, ESPECIALLY since I got to the advanced end game meals. I was at the point that I just wanted to make the most amount of money and that was that.
Thanks I've stayed ignorant to the fact I've been maxing out dishes but not actually selling them and they ended up being wasted "cuz we don't use the same sushi twice". I wish the game sort of gave me a hint to how many customers we should be expecting each shift. I guess auto supply can be good for that reason until you figure it out if you're playing without checking wiki and then set the dishes accordingly to your restaurant rank.
Thanks for posting this. Two questions that makes it confusing. If the auto supply was served as an "made to order" that doesn't create waste (as you stated in the video), then what is the purpose for setting a "number added" to this game mechanic and why not just have it automatically do the "auto supply" turned on by default? Before I ask the second question, I actually read on a forum that the auto supply doesn't act as a "made to order". Auto supply was a thing where it automatically preps another fish. So it's not 0/1 it will always be 1/1 for that item. So for example at the end of the night you could potentially have one of each item on your menu discarded because it auto supplied. If that function of the game is correct to what it was mentioned on the forumn, then THAT makes COMPLETE sense why setting a number of items to create is better. Then you can make, for example, 10 of one dish and when it is sold out you can subsitute another dish. saving on cost/waste. but I don't know if that is all true. (second question) could you verify that please? Love the video
First answer: yes. It is going to be 1/1 not 0/1 unless you run out of ingredients. When the dish is initially made at the start of the night and a customer orders that dish, Bancho prepares the next one. When I specify at the end that bancho will make the dish once someone has ordered it, I mean that usually there will always be 1/1 unless you run out of the ingredients. Generally though, only 1-2 max are wasted per night compared to 5-10 if you add wayyyy to much for Bancho to auto repair. This also stops him and the staff from making dishes non stop and clogging up the orders. So the answer to your second question would be yes. That is true and correct. I should have been more clear when I said made to order.
You always waste one more ingredient than you sell with Auto Supply because you always prepare one extra dish prematurely, that is the tradeoff. If you want to be efficient then you set one or two items to AutoSupply and set the rest of the items (that you have few of and want to enhance) to lower fixed numbers, like 2-3 in the midgame. Late game the one extra loss from AutoSupply doesn't really matter.
Didnt Bancho said, that if a customer didnt eat a meal then its a waste? If you set 20 of something and sell only 5, 15 should remain. Isnt it more like can you supply all the clients?
Yes, I mention that in the video! :D Bancho says he won't re-serve sushi. It will be thrown away at the end of the night. The remaining 15 would be wasted in that instance. You can Auto Supply the ingredients in order to waste less. I posted an update video to this guide to further clarify as well! :)

Thanks for explaining. It did not seem to make a difference to me because I would still use the max amount of each dish. Now I know I only have to add one of each dish to the menu and then auto-supply. Do you also know of cleaning the bar increases the amount in tips? It would make sense.
Thank you for this useful tip, i wasn't sure what it did either. I do have some questions, is it possible to order ingredients such as salt somehow, or do you have to find those while diving only? Also, what is the difference between expensive dishes and the ones that bring happiness? What are the benefits of happiness? Thank you
So the salt and other ingredients (for now) seem to only be acquired by diving sadly. As for the happiness, this is for the Cooksta rating rather than the amount of money they pay. You can choose to pick lower value items for those that have a higher happiness rating to generate more likes and followers on Cooksta which is how you unlock higher tiers (Silver & Gold for example) which unlocks more content such as being able to hire extra staff :D
You can dispatch your free staff. Press 3 (staff) and then 2 (benched staff). And then you click 4th option on employee and you can dispatch for cooking ingredients
It took me 30h to notice this wooden boards with food numbers XD Is there any disadvantage to auto-supply? Is there some delay between order and production?
There is one thing you should know about autosupply. If you want to maximize your income with selling the priciest sushi and include cheaper sushi with autosupply then you probably will waste your expensive sushi. It looks like customers tends to buy cheaper (or tastier ? ) sushi more, so they will not be forced to buy expensive one. The best way is to know how many customers you are going to get and fill up exact amount of sushi. From my experience (in my setup) for the 2/3 night shift I get 20 customers. So that autosupply is not always a good thing.
Is there any reason why auto supply matters with fish? My understanding is that any fish you catch during a dive go bad at the end of the day no matter whether Bancho uses the fish or not. In that case, wouldnt non-fish ingredients br the only items you need to consider saving? Otherwise, is there something I am missing about how the suppy of gish you have is used?
So this is actually not correct. Which I think is what’s causing the confusion. When Bancho says “any unused fish” he means anything not sold on the menu. You can stockpile huge amounts of fish to use for your menu each dive. They don’t go bad after the days end. They only will go bad if you use them for a dish and that dish is not served. Does that make sense?
Oh snap! I just realised after watching a video, I put on auto supply AND have substantially more than one plates of the dish. Am I wasting ingredients?
