If I use a Taproot address for my bitcoin address, do I change the script type in Sparrow Wallet to Taproot?
Yes, the script type needs to be the same as the address that holds your bitcoin.
Is Sparrow the only wallet that works for this?
As far as I know, this is the only technique that I know about to speed up transactions using the Child Pays For Parent system.
Can you break down why this speeds up transactions?
When you submit a transaction you are using a UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) from your bitcoin address to pay for your fees. A UTXO holds a certain number of bitcoin. Usually, a UTXO will hold more bitcoin than it needs for fees, the surplus of bitcoin that is left from a transaction is then sent back to you.
Using the Child Pays For Parent method, we are able to use the output of receiving our change back, to speed up the first transaction. Even though we haven't received our bitcoin back from the first transaction, we are still able to use it in another transaction. Because of this, we are able to submit a new transaction, where all we need to do is send bitcoin to ourselves and pay a high enough fee. The fee must be enough to cover the 1st and 2nd transactions, because if the first one doesn't go through, then we are unable to complete the 2nd transaction since it is using an output from the 1st. If the fee is high enough, the two transactions get picked up by miners and are then confirmed in the next (or few) blocks.

After watching your video i made 10$ to xverse to increase fee in sparrow but sparrow showing insufficient funds how much amount should be transfer to xverse to make previous unconfirmed transaction successful?
