I’m looking in my bitcoin wallet now and the first two transactions I was waiting to get confirmed are still unconfirmed and the new two transactions I sent are showing up as well. need to double spend using bitcoin core 014.1 any vids on how to do this? originally i thought you just use the zapwallet flag and delete the mempool.dat file, then after it scans you spend your total balance (all the coins to another address in your walllet), but that doesn't seem to work. it doesn't even broadcast the transaction, as if bitcoin core has a built in firewall to prevent double spending.
I don't have too much of knowledge here wonder if I can use this mathod to push through my unconfirmed BTc sent from trezor. but don't know what is the private key? is there any risk of lost ?

Seeking some help with an issue I had with my Nano S.
I was sending BTC to my Nano S. I generated an address from the device, copied it and pasted it onto the website I was sending from, double checked it after I pasted it to make sure it was correct and had not been "spoofed" or altered, and sent the coins.
Normally the transaction would show up within seconds in my Nano S wallet as an unconfirmed transaction, this time it did not. The transaction showed as confirmed after a few minutes on the blockchain, and the coins have not moved.
The BTC address I received was definitely generated by my Nano S. I was logged in to the correct app, as my Bitcoin balance was correctly shown. I double checked the address after I copied and pasted it to make sure it was accurate.
Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Right click the txn in electrum and choose option to increase fee, increase it, then re-sign and broadcast. Electrum makes it ez.

no they are technically still in your wallet so you have enough to cover it.

Try pushing the tx as some other places. I did a double spend by accident once when I was doing txs by hand. After that, I did a few more playing around. Generally the longer you wait, the harder it can be, because your tx conflicts with some of the mempools.

Steps remain the same. Until you sign the transaction and broadcast it to the network nothing is effected. So you can create as many transaction as you want, but no one else will know that transaction exists until the transaction is actually broadcasted.

Coinbase does most of their transactions off-chain, more like a paypal than bitcoin. With coinbase they hold the private keys so it is not possible to do this since you wouldn't have access to the private keys.

I had some coins stuck for 2 days even though i sent them with the fee recommended by blockchain. I saw this tutorial, but it is unclear (do i have to do the first step if i already have stuck bitcoins?). So i made another transaction with double the recommended fee to the same address and not only did it go through within 5 minutes, the stuck transaction ALSO went through at exactly the same time... Seems like the high fee transaction somehow unstuck the earlier one...

You send bitcoins (the amount does not matter and can be very small) to the same address with a double the recommended transaction fee (which yu have to google).
I don't know how to break it down further.

+SHAREEF WISDOM FSS-RBF is only for changing a fee amount. The bitcoins will be at the address you sent them to, that cannot be changed.

By building a raw transaction and spending the entire input. You shouldn't do a zero fee transaction unless you want it to get stuck.
lol yesterday i sent $30 (AUD) to someone and its stuck :P it was right in the middle of that giant vertical spike in unconfirmed transactions, most of which are still unconfirmed. Usually unconfirmed transactions bounces between 100 or less and 3000 or so.. over 20000 when I sent lol.. peaked at over 44000 about 7hrs later and we're still at 36000 now. Today I sent a different transaction and didn't put a high fee or anything, yet it confirmed in 14 minutes or so.. lucky ? but I'm guessing it was mined as part of a big pool with other big transactions, very high volume site I was paying maybe they even mine their own transactions (is that a thing? could I try to mine mine? mineminemine ? lol)
The recommended fees at the moment to rush a send through is way higher than usual, probably a couple of dollars ! so I pasted the transaction into a site for paid acceleration just for kicks.
$17 USD fee LMAO yeah it would push the transaction through, but I'd have a few dollars left ! hahahaha
Going to try a free accelerator every hour on the hour but with them offering only 100 free per hour I'm guessing those 100 will be gone in a second and I'll have to be super lucky. So unless people stop dumping their BTC worrying about crypto crisis (lol, silly humans trying to be sheep) I think it will just end up being rejected back to my wallet. EEESH :)

You aren't actually double spending though? The whole point of bitcoin is that it prevents double spending.
I had same problem, and was lucky enough to be referred to *@cyber_kor* on IG who helped reverse the transactions I sent which had stayed unconfirmed for weeks. He is also on WhatsApp +1 347 830 3644.

This is too complicated for nothing, just send another transaction from same sender to same receiver but with double fees, it will accept the new transaction AND the old one stucked.
I tried this and it didn't work. I sent money to a gambling site with a low fee, it's been stuck for a week. I sent the same amount to the same address but with a higher fee. All I received is the second transaction.
