      Definitely catch up
      The one where you do the catchup on your back but you hold your arm straight up and do catchup

    Hey could u make a video on swimming injuries and how to avoid them?

    • @KyleMillis
      @KyleMillis  Год назад +1

      Sure! I have had lots of injuries and many of them could’ve been prevented with the proper “prehab”

    My double arm backstroke need work currently.

    • @KyleMillis

      Try it out in practice a couple times before going for it in a race, definitely took me a couple tries.

    Wow, Double arm pull! Is this better than the traditional freestyle pull before the turn? Nice video by the way. Subscribed!

      I think it adds a degree of complexity that some swimmers enjoy and some don’t, but I love the speed boost into the wall - helps with a faster turn.

    bro i have a question.. in backstroke kick do i bend my knees intentionally or let it straight and it be bend from water resistance

    • @KyleMillis
      @KyleMillis  Год назад +1

      It’s a bit of both, you don’t want to BEND your knees, but there will be some natural bend as your kick up and down throughout your freestyle kick.
      I’d say bend with water resistance but try and keep your Leg straight throughout.

    What nose clips do you and backstrokeU recommend Kyle?

    • @KyleMillis
      @KyleMillis  4 месяца назад +1

      Personally I'm not a nose clip guy...
      Wouldn't even know what to recommend. Not many at BackstrokeU used a nose clip.

      @@KyleMillis Thanks! Do you guys do a particular breathing pattern to necessitate not needing one?

    I think my underwaters on my back are better than on stomach. 8 kicks gets me to 13m on my back form push and on my stomach I think it’s like 10 or 12

    • @KyleMillis
      @KyleMillis  10 месяцев назад +1

      Totally! Mine are definitely as well, it’s about repetition and learning how to get the most distance per kick (DPK) while maintaining speed. Play around with it!
